"My Thought on this Subject"

Good morning Family!!!<br>

I was here sittig before my comptor at home and was thinking about the aspect of eternal life.<br>
<br>
Now i was wondering why do we as His Children spend so much of our time dwelling on eternal Life? As i see it when we except Jesus as savior He emparts eternal life to us. It is ours and no one can take it away from us.<br>
<br>
Now i am not saying tht we are not to be overjoyed in our eternal life that we have in Christ Jesus. Because this is a wonderous thing.<br>
<br>
"ETERNAL LIFE" MEANING THAT WE WILL LIVE FOREVER IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN RIGHT?<br>
<br>
But this morning i was thinking about the statement of Jesus that HE made in John 17:2-3 below.<br>
<br>
<br>
Jhn 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. <br>
<br>
Now as we look at the above verse He tells us that He has given us eternal life Hallelujah this is shouting time folks. But! "wait" in the next verse He say something different to us . That there is another aspect to this eternal life that He gives us.<br>
<br>
<br>
Jhn 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. <br>
<br>
Now in verse 3 above He turns it around and says "This is life eternal"<br>
<br>
This life eternal is this ( He is talking about the quality of life that we now can start living in the Eternal life that is ours.) <br>
<br>
This is very important to us Family. This is the area that He wants us to dwell upon . " THE QUALITY OF LIFE ETERNAL" <br>
<br>
<br>
Lets look at what HE means in "life eternal"<br>
<br>
THE WORD IN THE GREEK IS THIS.<br>
<br>
zwh // zoe // dzo-ay' // <br>
<br>
<br>
Which means a life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, devoted to God, blessed, in the portion even in this world of those who put their trust in Christ, (THIS IS OUR HOPE) but after the resurrection to be consummated by new accessions (among them a more perfect body), and to last for ever. <br>
<br>
"Eternal " of course means this ( without end, never to cease, everlasting )<br>
<br>
The question that i was thinking about this morning is .Why is it that we as children of God spend so much of our time thinking about eternal life? Now i am not say that this is not a good thing. But! in Jesus's own words He tells us that in this eternal life is this most important aspect that we need to learn and come to term with - this is the quility of life that we have in our eternal life.<br>
<br>
He goes own to tell us how we can have this quality of life that is in eternal life by saying .<br>
<br>
" that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.' <br>
<br>
That they meaning (The children of God) might "Know" thee"<br>
<br>
Now this word "Konw" means to come into a deep and intimate relation with God. Now He tells us that we are to know the one and only true God.The God of creation. <br>
<br>
He also goes on to say that we are to come to know Him also(Jesus Christ) in the same way. In a very deep and intimate way. This gives us the picture of the way that a man and woman are to leave their mother and father and cleave unto each other.<br>
<br>
Now Family! it is in this same way of leaving that we are to leave our old way of life and cleave (Come to know ) "DEEPLY AND INTIMATELY" God and Jesus that gives us the Life eternal (quality of life) that Jesus talks about.<br>
<br>
It is this cleaving unto them that we will learn to live the quality of life that Jesus is referring to in verse 3 above. <br>
<br>
Guess what Family? we can have this quility of life right now! We do not have to wait untill we get to heaven to have it. It is the Father's desire that we learn to walk in this new way of life right now by coming to know Him in a deep and intimate way.<br>
<br>
There is the picture of Adam and Eve as they walked and talked with God in the garden in this life eternal that we must learn to know and approperate in our lives here on earth.It is a daily communion with the Father as we live our lives.<br>
<br>
It is the Daily asking and seeking of Father's will in our lives that we will began to start a new way of thinking and living.<br>
<br>
These are my thoughts this morning as i have asked the Holy Spirit to help me convey them so that we all can understand. I pray that i have stated what He has told me truefuly?. amen <br>
<br>
Yes we have Eternal life and it is ours. But we also have in eternal life the quility of life that comes with knowing God the Father and Jesus the Son. in a deep and intimate way that will lead us into a quility of life that will surpass anything that we have ever known before.<br>
<br>
Amen let it be even so dear Lord.<br>
