The meaning of your Internet name

When I registered on this website I couldn't come up with anything clever. I use ally on most other sites so to make it simple for me I then added the last 4 numbers of my phone. When I see some of the other names, I think to myself why couldn't I come up with something cute. Oh well!

My name came from a pet my husband and I got right after we got married. Her name was Wendy and she was a teacup poodle and about 9 years old. Her back was arched a bit and she had an enlarged heart. When she would sit down she reminded us of a squirrel the way her back arched, so we called her Wendysquirel. 
 
She died about 3 years ago, but the name just stuck...

I used to be "oblivious" to just about everything. And that was okay. "Ignorance is bliss" was my opus. 
 
Now I don't think it's okay. I'm still oblivious to vast extent. But not because I want to be. I want to be "X"-oblivious.

I was into Rush back in my younger days. I hope I'm not being forward but there are some real issues with those guys. Yes, not far out! Actually Mum gets to do most of that as I work five days a week! However we are managing quite well and every day is different. 
Plus there is so much going on in the world at the moment and each month seems to have ended as soon as it has begun. 
Also I distribute (some by mail and some letterboxing)articles mainly from the internet exposing what is really happening out there. I use Herbs articles as well as others. Two other favourites are Last Trumpet N/L (published once a month) and The Cutting Edge (subscription required to access latest articles and republishing not encouraged). Both these authors have a history of having once been involved in witchcraft and the occult before being saved by our Lord Jesus.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> This history gives their commentary considerable authority.

You may have noticed its taken me quite a while to respond to your post. 
 
I have been a big Rush fan all my life. 
I know they have some pagan influences. They are not Christian in any way. 
I like Rush because of thier technical abilities. They are fantastic musicians. All 3 of them. 
 
I agree with your post in a way, but I cannot completly agree with it. 
 
Maybe as a Christian I should stay away from that type of secular music, but, the musician in me says I HAVE to learn from thier technical abilties and apply it to my own style. 
 
After much consideration, I cannot ignor the musical genius of Rush. 
 
So the words are not exactly Christian, its the music and ability I'm interested in anyway. 
 
Fleetwood MAC are my favorite band of all time. 
Why? 
Because as a musician, I admire the sound they make together. 
 
I only wish Christian Music could be so effective. 
Thats my goal. 
To make Christian music just as effective as secular music. 
Will accomplish that? 
Yes I will in my corner of the world.

My wife and I travel at least once each year to somewhere tropical that has Warm water (over 54) and Visability (over 20 feet). We take our 2 kids with us and I now have to catch up to my daughter (9) since she can get her fins on much faster than I can. Soon there will be 4 Divers (diverjon, diverjane, diveranna and divermike) I'll have to come up with a new handle at that point I guess. 
 
I think this is a great thread as well, It's a good way to get to know all of you! Thanks for sharing everyone!

I considered that poetry as not of fine quality lol ...(depressing and hurtful and could cause many to fall into the same by reading them ) 
I did consider mine to be of finer quality(inspirational and uplifting) (yes I know it sounds conceited but it was not I had good intentions of it ) .... 
 
So my nickname was FineQualityPoet 
I shortened it when I started on message boards
