Near term prophecy question?

It seems like all the current polls show the President losing the 2020 election. Why is that?

1. Is it because the Presidents supporters are "cowed" by the polls? Or are they not answering the polls?
2. Is it because of the attitude "I have not yet begun to fight"?
3. Has the Presidents style alienated his base to the point that they are willing to support the "party of evil"
4. Will they be there in November of 2020? Or have they already deserted him?


Even in CA, Trump carried 2/3 of the counties in 2016...just not the big ones. In 2018, when Gavin Newsome ran for governor, John Cox mounted no credible opposition and yet he still received over 40% of the vote. While we have some very unwise leaders, and a democratic supermajority, don't write us all off.

If the Great Trib does not begin before then, Trump will win in a landslide again...the polls virtually mean nothing. The polls are almost always slanted toward Democrats, it's the way they do it.

Haven't we learned anything about polls from the last election cycle? There's always the possibility of an upset, but I think odds are good he will get re-elected. The economy is good, unemployment is near record lows, and most presidents do go on to win a second term. The Democrat party has made a far-left turn, and this will not appeal to the majority of normal Americans.

BetOnline has just released its latest odds on the election, with 46 candidates and celebrities listed, and it is should come as little surprise that President Trump, the incumbent and defending champ of sorts, remains the favorite, at 7-4.

Why would anyone vote for a man whose missing in action most of the time? When he is around he's usually incoherent. I've seen zero enthusiasm for him. People don't have boat parades or drive for miles to see him like they do Trump. He doesn't have anything to offer. He has promised to raise taxes, make everyone wear a mask, ban fracking and probably a lot of other things too. That doesn't exactly scream excitement. His only selling point is that he's not Trump. That might be enough for the far-left, but for the rest of America it simply won't do.

I believe we are entering a time when people will make decisions and do things that make no sense. The 4 horsemen are described in Rev but i believe also in Zech 1 and 6. In Zech 6 the horsemen are described as spirits that are restrained that go out from heaven throughout the earth. The horsemen in Rev are also 'restrained', sealed, until the restraints are broken.

i believe we are seeing the restraints on men, on human behavior, coming off, the full force of evil in the hearts of men will be made evident. The first horsemen could be seen as the spirit of conquest, which is evident all around us. People wish to rule with absolute authority, to conquer and punish others for no reason other than to satisfy their own desire to rule. The covid event has given evidence of this as has the riots and the upcoming election, submit to an assumed authority, be ruled over, submit to conquest without question.

Reason and common sense, aka wisdom, come from God, and they are going to be in short supply among those who reject God.

You are so right.

But I am also convinced that if the Lord is not done with President Trump, and his first term has not accomplished all that the Lord desires of him, then he will be reelected.

On the flip side, if God's agenda requires a President Biden or perhaps a President Harris, then they will be elected. I do not see a President Biden serving out a 4 year term if he were to be elected.
