To put it in a nutshell, circumcision of the heart is 'holiness.' It implies being cleansed from sin …

(2 Corinthians 7:1) Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

A side note, we as Christians begins to have the virtues of Christ, and aims to fulfill the verse "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48).
I believe that pipe smoking contributes to a somewhat calm and objective judgement in all human affairs."
-Albert Einstein, 1950

"On land, on sea, at home, abroad, I smoke my pipe and worship God" Johann Sebastian Bach 1685-1750

It also implies an "inside operation" on the heart. It is a deep life altering heart change.

Your heart goes from being closed off and dead .....to being alive...open and exposed to His word.... will ....and ways.

Eph 5:5
Being certain of this, that no man who gives way to the passions of the flesh, no unclean person, or one who has desire for the property of others, or who gives worship to images, has any heritage in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Eph 5:6
Do not be turned from the right way by foolish words; for because of these things the punishment of God comes on those who do not put themselves under him.
Eph 5:7
Have no part with such men.

Eph 5:8
For you at one time were dark, but now are light in the Lord: let your behaviour be that of children of light
Eph 5:9
Because the fruit of the light is in all righteousness and in everything which is good and true,
Eph 5:10
Testing by experience what is well-pleasing to the Lord.

Eph 5:11
And have no company with the works of the dark, which give no fruit, but make their true quality clear;
Eph 5:12
For the things which are done by them in secret it is shame even to put into words.
Eph 5:13
But all things, when their true quality is seen, are made clear by the light: because everything which is made clear is light.

Eph 5:14
For this reason he says, Be awake, you who are sleeping, and come up from among the dead, and Christ will be your light.

Eph 5:15
Take care then how you are living, not as unwise, but as wise;
Eph 5:16
Making good use of the time, because the days are evil.
Eph 5:17
For this reason, then, do not be foolish, but be conscious of the Lord's pleasure.

Yeah best way to put it is your heart becomes open, and exposed like Blessed said.

Prior to being exposed to Gods law and hearing of His mercy, you had a hardened heart, he softens it. Like a penut without the shell, it's exposed for what it really is, the entire world can see clearly what it consists off.
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just, because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. (John 5:30)

I dont hide behind love laced platitudes...that's why Im not welcome amongst most of the body of "believers".
I call it like it is...and have the audacity to post scripture in refutation of opinion. For that Im labeled a heretical pharisee who is severely lacking in the love dept...among other things. - Blessdayers
