Unreported News, Commentary, Resources and Discussion of Bible Prophecy

Such statements are common these days from catechists, theologians, and biblical scholars. They are trying to express something important — that there are certain things we should not expect from Scripture — but they have not used the right language in expressing these facts.

I had to take a study of Western Religions course my first year in college. I was studying music and had to attend a Catholic 2 year private college to study with the Music Teacher I wanted to study under. Anyway, the teacher of this course was a nun in the phelician order. I argued with here day in and day out about the truth of scripture. Her order does not believe in old testament miracles like the parting of the red sea. She just believed that these were just stories. Well needless to say I got an A in the course and excused form having to take the final, but was just amazed at the non-acceptance of the bible as a whole.

I cannot remember that little nun's name can you? She was a spunky little bird, and I aced her class too, always defended my faith in my assignments, despite her views I still liked her.

I heard the gospel through a preacher at an AG church. I was invited to go to the church by a friend, and gave my heart to the Lord that night. All I can say is Praise You Thank You Lord Jesus!
