Found lump, need prayer

Hi all. I know I don't post much anymore, but I do visit every day and read. Could you pray for me and my family? I've been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks so much.

Dearest Yeshua,

It is hard to understand when big trials like cancer come into our lives. Please Lord, may she never turn her eyes off of You. May she continue to trust in You and Your plans for her life here. Use this some how and some way to grow her faith. I pray for clear guidance from her doctors and caregivers. Your will be done in her life Yeshua. Thank You for taking care of our sister. Amen.

Thank you so much for putting me on that list! Just to update everyone, I do have breast cancer, it's a large tumor, and they want me to start chemo right away to shrink it so I can then have the mastectomy. I have a PET scan on Monday to find out if it's spread anywhere else. I so hope it hasn't!! But in anycase, I do have to do the chemo, probably by the next Monday. Please continue to keep me in your prayers. My biggest wish is to shine for Jesus as I walk this road. I hope and want people to see Him in me as I go through all of this. Pray for His peace to carry me, and that I will not fear.

My PET scan was clear, no spreading. Thankyou all for praying. I start chemo Monday (10-10-11) I hope it won't be too awful hard on me.

I'm very saddened to hear of your recent diagnosis. I am praying for you, my sister. Isaiah 53:5 states that by His stripes (Jesus') we are healed. Stand on that promise, Lisa, and never let go.

I'm not sure if you're aware of the following, but I thought it may help you during this difficult time -- especially while going through chemotherapy. It's a site called "Breast Cancer Sisterhood" and it gives a lot of great advice. Since you're starting your chemotherapy tomorrow, I'll post the page that gives advice on what to eat on that day to help combat any nausea you may experience. But the entire site is beneficial. Had a rough couple of days with the chemo, and had to go into the hospital today for IV meds and fluids. Now I'm feeling better as a result. I hope feeling better continues! Again, thanks so much for all the prayers and support. It means the world to me.

praying for you lisa, i just found out yesterday that my sister has a tumor that the drs are saying looks like cancer. shes really scared, so am i. they did a biopsy yesterday and will know more next week. i know that God is in control, still hard to understand sometimes... :cry:

Also praying for your sister as well, rabka. May the Lord, by His own hand and through the use of the hands of His creations, heal the bodies of these two women of all remnants of cancer.

How are you doing, Lisa? And what were the results of your sister's biopsy, rabka?

I'm hanging in there as I go through the process. Chemo's no fun, but I'm carried through in the arms of Jesus. I brag on Him and His care. I have a long way to go yet, they want to shrink the tumor before any surgery, since it's kind of large. But once I'm done, sometime probably in early March I'll have my surgery, then radiation........should be all done with it by then. Thanks for asking!
