mguard wrote:How come When I googled to try to find more info on this I only got very old articles about possible or potential uses? I would think there would be some serious outcry over this? No one talking about this except you here. I for one need to see that scan. Sorry call me a doubting Thomas.

At the same time I do not deny that the technology exists for an actual physical mark....However the implantable chip is OLD technology and the RFID Tatoo would be much more likely candidate.

The FDA also identified a number of risks associated with an implantable RFID chip,
including adverse tissue reaction, migration of the implanted transponder,
electromagnetic interference and electrical hazards.

Daniel J. DeNoon of WebMD wrote:Who would want such a thing? That depends on how you ask, says Scott Silverman,
CEO of Applied Digital, which makes the FDA-approved RFID called VeriChip.
"When we first announced VeriChip, a network poll asked people if they would put one in their bodies,"
Silverman tells WebMD. "Only 9% said yes. After FDA approval, 19% said yes. When former HHS Secretary
Tommy Thompson joined our board, the rate went up to 33%. But our own study shows that if you ask people
whether they would have a VeriChip implant to identify their medical records in case of an emergency,
the positive response goes to 80%."
The chip got FDA approval in October 2004. Since then, Silverman says, some 2,000 people worldwide
are using them for medical or security purposes. But soon he expects that millions of people
will get VeriChip implants every year.
mguard wrote:Yes I found similar articles when I googled. Google may be owned by left wingers, but it still displays content from this site and other Christian sites etc... what I was looking for was a person out there saying ...Hey this happened to me. I know that conspiracy sites get no respect here, but if this was happening then I would think that there would be lots of various posts! Not even one?????
Look, I live in Europe right now and it is ages ahead as far as govt. controlled heath care, Big brother etc... Chipping of infants would start here NOT in the US. Europeans would probably not even have to sign a consent form!
I must admit that I have a personal bias toward the mark of the beast being a spiritual condition, not to change the direction of this thread...At the same time I do not deny that the technology exists for an actual physical mark....However the implantable chip is OLD technology and the RFID Tatoo would be much more likely candidate.
I'm sorry if I come across as edgy in my posts. I have seen so much since leaving the states, living in so many different countries in the past 3 years, Meeting people from all over the world.
I know that daily our Brothers and sister are slaughtered for their testimony and do not love their lives unto death! They are abused and imprisoned and yet carry on spreading the gospel. They are mocked and spit on and torn to pieces for their belief in our Lord and I just don't see that buying and selling at walmart with an Iphone is all that high on our Lords list of concerns.![]()
Jesus told us they will hate us for his names sake and Paul said all who live GODLY Lives in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Persecution is VERY limited in the states..so much so that EVERY instance gains wide media attention.
( unless you count the treatment of the called out ones by the organizational structure )
I guess for me it is curious that it is those who live in the most free and free of persecution places that are the most obsessed about it possibly coming to them, when it is a daily reality for so many of our brothers and sisters.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here... Blessings all

Adriana Diaz with Yahoo News wrote:A cat's incredible journey has taken the web by storm. After a feline named Willow
ran away from her Colorado home five years ago, her owners had given up hope.
"We put out the 'lost cat' posters and the Craigslist thing, but we actually thought she'd been eaten by coyotes,"
the Squires family told The New York Times. You can imagine her family's surprise when they received a call
that a man had found Willow a mere 1,800 miles away wandering down 20th Street in New York City
and turned her in to a shelter. Thanks to a tiny microchip that had been implanted into the cat,
the shelter was able to identify her as the cat who went missing five years ago in Colorado.
The shelter says Willow was healthy and probably did not live on New York's mean streets for long.
So what she's been up to the past five years and how she traveled from Colorado to New York is still a mystery.
Social media's loving this story. On Twitter, @TAshwell called it "The Most Up-Lifting News Story of the Month."
Others like @collins3779 say the story shows, "Why u should microchip ur pet."
Willow's owner even said, "if I could microchip my kids, I would."
