I looked for another "animal humor" thread but didn't see one. I have a funny animal story. We had a cat, Fancy, who had four kittens. Fancy and her kittens lived in our master bedroom bathroom while the kittens were young. We also have a 12 year old German Sheperd who weighs in at around 90 pounds. His name is Tonka, and his favorite place to sleep when he is in the house is in the Master bedroom on the side of the bed where I sleep, on the floor.
One day last spring we let Tonka in and he went marching back to our bedroom to sleep in his usual "spot." Fancy had her kittens in the bathroom but since she had been let out and the door was closed to the kittens, she was patiently waiting in our bedroom to be let back in to her babies. My husband had let Tonka in and gone to a chair in the den. I was at my computer desk when all of a sudden, from the back of the house, I hear a loud screech followed by Tonka running up the hallway and Fancy following right behind. Tonka runs to my desk, throws my legs up as he is trying to get under me, when he cant, he runs under my husband's desk and seeing that Fancy is still chasing him, he rounds the corner through the kitchen and into the den where my husband is. I went the other way, from the office to the den and as I round the corner, up into my husband's lap jumps Tonka, the 90lb. dog, and then, Fancy, the 5 lb. mother of kittens with an attitude, jumps right on top of him. My husband is at the bottom of the pile. The cat is standing on top of the dog with her mouth right at his ears giving him the business. My husband is stunned and not sure how to go about disarming the angry momma cat and get this 90 lb dog off his lap. I am standing in the doorway to the den roaring in laughter at the site. It was truly funny.
