(My two cents or twenty, the article being posted is way at the bottom.)
Today President Obama is having the U.S. sign up as a member of the Alliance of Civilizations. This monumental event is one the FP community has been cautious of ever since the AoCs inception. And now it is a reality. Of coarse it doesn’t hurt to have a national disaster on hand while the president signs us up. Look the oil spill is over here okay… you see nothing in the other hand alright…
The actions of Obama’s visit to Turkey in April 2009 spoke volumes and has made me wonder about his intentions ever since. After Obama was in office for 4 months he attended an AOC summit held in Istanbul Turkey. The Hajia Sophia was a point of interest for the president; it’s also the palace where the “Head of Islam” is kept, the flag. You see the flag can only fly if they have a King or Caliph to unite them all; it’s the flag of Mohammad. (I’m not sure what this coincidental visit means or what could come from it, yet I do speculate.)
This “Alliance” with the US is a huge resource for Turkey as it gains the support of the most powerful nation on earth via the AOC. It looks like we have a new “Alliance” citizens of the new world. Turkey by the way has a cool spin of their own for the AOC logo.

I was wondering when this beast might start kicking again. "Ankara is pleased" well good I'm glad Turkey is happy. I wonder if it has anything to do with Turkey's position on the Palestinian Israeli conflict. You see the AOC is poised to manage the "social integration" of Palestinians with Israelis once a peace deal is signed. (See Link Below) Okay how do they plan on doing that and exactly what is in such a "proposed peace plan” that will require "social integration"? I don’t know, we will just have to stay tuned.
This article I posted in another thread tells about the AOC’s role of "Social Integration”. viewtopic.php?f=58&t=55970
Despite other NGOs and governments giving lip service of having a peace plan, I believe Obama may have the real deal sitting on his desk. Is his plan “the one”, to be signed at the proper time and “place”. We have all seen his flare for picking just the venue to make an impression. (Note: Other post exist here at FP of Obama visiting the alter of Zeus in Germany.)

While Turkey and the rest of the AoC partners gain legitimacy and more power via the US member ship. The President peace maker in chief gains more leverage and legitimacy in the Muslim world as a peace broker in the Middle East. It just may be the key he needs to bring “world peace”. He has chosen to do this through the predominantly Islamic-New Age-Secularist guided AoC.
Now would a new peace deal make the ENPI null and void? Not necessarily or at least in terms of the way we look at it. It may still be very significant as a building block or rather a block to be removed at the right time. You see if a new peace deal was signed by both Israeli and Palestinian parties before or at the mid point of the ENPI then the “New Deal” might go into full force while the old deal becomes “terminated” or “broken” at mid point. (Note: That is just a hypothetical...)
It sure looks like a long shot, but a month or two ago this would have looked impossible. Now all parties are ready to talk. It looks like all the dominoes are being set up fast; will they all be in place, in time?
Could the signing of a New Deal at the Mid-Point of the ENPI put a stop to sacrifice? How could that be? There is no present day sacrifice taking place in Israel; or is there? Research what Rabbis tell about what the Torah has to say about sacrifice and prayer. Does God desire prayer or sacrifice? Where do they pray in Israel?
Psa 141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before You as incense, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified through the Word of God and prayer.
What if the daily prayers were stopped by the terms of a new covenant while at the same the older is terminated. Could that fulfill prophecy? There are many possibilities and time lines this new peace plan could have. This new U.S. AoC relationship and coming peace talks are something certainly worth keeping an eye on.
We are possibly living in the Days of Daniel where prayer to Yahweh may become forbidden.
ARTICLE Ankara welcomes US decision to join AoC

The Turkish capital has voiced pleasure over a decision by Washington to join the Group of Friends of the UN-led Alliance of Civilizations (AoC) and take part in an upcoming third forum of the initiative, expressing hope that US participation will lead to further progress of the alliance.
The Obama administration announced last Thursday that it has decided to join the UN Alliance of Civilizations aimed at fostering greater cross-cultural understanding but shunned by the previous Bush administration due to fears it would adopt anti-Israeli and anti-Western stances.
The Alliance of Civilizations, a joint Spanish-Turkish initiative under the auspices of the United Nations, was created in 2005. “The Group of Friends brings together those countries and international organizations supportive of the Alliance of Civilizations’ goals and objectives. With the United States, membership in the Group of Friends has risen to 120,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a written statement released on Friday.
“This latest addition to the Group of Friends will make a major contribution to the enhancement and progress of the alliance,” the ministry said. The Bush administration boycotted the group when it was founded in 2005 over concerns it would become a forum for bashing Israel and the United States. Those concerns were magnified a year later when the alliance released a report that officials in Washington said unfairly blamed Israel and the US for many of the world’s problems.(Magnified or Justified? d)
Since President Barack Obama came to office last year, the US has slowly opened the door to informal dealings with the alliance, including attending some of its meetings as an observer.
The decision to join grows out of Obama’s desire to broaden US participation in international groups and improve its standing in the Muslim world.
