Prophecy In The Stars!

Shalom from Eilat,

There is, I believe, a prophecy in the stars of the third temple. This is only for your consideration, as I have no hard proof of this. But I do have some interesting observations.

I came to this conclusion after I had been studing the position of the second temple when I was living in Jerusalem last year. But the thing which got me on this was when the Lord allowed me to find a 2000 year old ossuary, a bone box' (small 10'' by 2ft stone box) used in 1st century Jewish buriels. (I think I told this story somewhere else, so I will not retell it. But the Lord, thorugh this, brought me into contact with some of the leading archeologists in Israel).

As I sat on the Mount of Olives one night, looking at the Temple Mount, I looked up into the night sky and saw the Constellation Orion. As I observed the angles of the 4 outer stars, I was noteful of how these angles seemed to match the trapazoid shape of the Temple Mount compound.

After I investigated this, I saw that the 4 outer stars line-up with the angles of the compound. Very strange! And I wondered if God had allowed the shape of the compound to match these outer stars for a reason. And perphaps that reason was that the 3 inner stars of Orion's Belt foretold three temples.

I remember some important Egyptologist pointing out that the constallation of orion is a heavenly map of the egyptian monuments down on earth.The three stars of his belt match up to the three pyramids at Giza.I feel that there is a sort of interplay between the first,and last books of the Bible,such as the AC is a modern Pharaoh,Obama looks like a pharaoh given a little face paint.Heavenly signs,and plauges,makes one wonder.

Hi Laz,

Yes, I am aware of those views on Egypt's tombs. But the difference here is that the 4 outer stars line up with the shape of the temple compound. And I think it is interesting to note that one of the stars is out of line somewhat to the other two. And if there is prophecy here, it might speak to the fact the third temple may not be exactly where the other two were. ?

Hi Mark,

Of course you are correct. But one cannot deny the role of the heavens in declaring the glory of God. He Himself placed the lights of the firmament for signs and seasons. And He calls 'each by its name'. What the name of that star which guided the wise men from the east, I do not know. But that star was set in motion long before their time.

But remember, I am not saying this correspondence to Orion and the Temple Mount is a prophecy. I was just making the observation. We have prophecy enough written in Scripture concerning a 3rd temple. But is every 'witness' recorded?

You've suggested that we can look to the stars for prophecy.

All creation, by the fact of it's existence, declares God's glory. But telling the future from reading the stars? That seems to me to be something different altogether.
