I just don't see the Supreme Court deciding on the Berg Case. They will not want a repeat of sorts of the 2000 election. Although, I believe they should hear the case.

I wouldn't concede just yet. They're basing a lot of it on exit polls, those 200 electoral votes are only projections at this point, not fact. Total national precincts reporting is 31% according to CNN at the time of my post. http://www.cnn.com/ That's 69% of precincts still left. A lot could change when that 69% is in. As Jake said, it's not over until it's over.

Well, I voted - for Mc Cain. Just to vote against Obama. I know this state is totally Democrat, but it was the principle. I'm not for McCain either.

I'm disappointed, but I know in my spirit that there is not time for much crying or whining. It is time to get ready. It appears we asked for "Change" and I believe we're gonna get it. I don't think anyone realizes how sweeping this change will be. But I have been praying and just feeling a need to draw close to the Lord right now. It's like the Lord is saying, "there is not much time for mourning. It is time to get ready." Change is coming and the Church needs to get ready for it.

One GOOD thing that will come of all this, IMHO: Christians will get on their knees and get into the Word like never before when things start getting bad, and people who call themselves Christians will cling to their earthly messiah to fix things during judgement and thus the sheep and the goats will be separated.

I agree with Final Trumpet's first post--we are now under judgment. Although I don't think it's precisely true that God gave us Obama...I think God lifted His mighty hand of protection from America and allowed Satan to present America with a very tempting messiah look-alike. And sadly, most of our fellow Americans fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

Extravgant--I think this yammering for "CHANGE" is one of those "grass is greener on the other side of the fence" things. Pure greed. We already have it good, but the Great Silencer sang a swan song of how much greener the grass was in his camp...and they drank his kook-aid (yes, I deliberately misspelled it!)

At first I thought, "Well, Obama will surely mess up and create scandals and such and then we can impeach him and remove him from office." Then I remembered that the Dems now control the House and Senate. While it is true that Obama is the most liberal member of the Senate--and left of almost all the House, too--good luck getting even the moderate Dems to get rid of "their" man.

I wanted to sleep later but was moved to get up at 5 to 5:30 to pray for mercy for America.

Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we joyfully acknowledge you and you alone as the one true God who is sovereign over all, and we humbly repent of America's sins, and of our own sins, including tolerating that which we should have stood firm against. In the name of your son, Jesus Christ, please have mercy on all your Believers, your Jews, and those who will come to Christ before it is too late, here in America. We know we're getting what we deserve, but I pray the blood of Jesus over us, that you won't give us all that we truly deserve, and will show us mercy. They're upset about a ban that was passed lastnight in Arkansas, banning gay parents from adopting children. Applauding the legalizing of marijuanna for medicine in another state.

I guess I'm thinking of a different "us". I realize now that you mean "us" as the people of America. I was thinking of "us" as the people of God.

But I consider myself as "people of God" more than "people of America".

Of course, I am an American, but what befalls America is not the same as what befalls me. God is working all of this for my good, and that's different, I think, than what is happening to America.
