It looks like he is willing to do and say whatever it takes to impress every different kind of American there is to get their vote, whether or not what he says is true or not. I find it odd that he has a different symbol for each group. Everything about his campaign has been odd, or perfectly consistent with someone who has grandiose plans of power, from campaigning overseas, to this whole following that he has duped.

I don't want to be a gossip, but I have heard Obama is only 5 to 10 percent black. His father was mostly of Arab decent. Does anyone know how to check this out ? Please, I am not trying to spread dispersion, it's something I've heard but been unable to verify.

Questiioning what percentage of "black" his father is made of up is absolutely absurd gossip and does not speak to the issues of why one should or should not vote for this man. Why is this even mentioned if not to spread dispersion? Can we please get past this?

Sorry, no. I think it is important to know if and when Obama has concealed or ignored the truth about himself. I got the information in an email from a trusted source, granted a conservative, but still trusted. I asked for verification here as I am unable to find it elsewhere. I don't care, really, if he has an Arabic heritage. Such a thing might prove useful even. I just want to know the truth about him. He is such an American politician of these times I find him to be incredible. I just don't believe he has been fully vetted for this job, and he might be our next President. I'd like to know. Just my personal feelings. Sorry you are offended.

No, your not sorry. It's just a shame that so many people are 'going there' during this campaign...as if having Arab blood makes you somehow less than sincere...if its even true. There's more to FP than who's posting and I pray our brothers and sisters in Christ from various Middle East backgrounds are not offended by this display during this campaign.

I agree David. Concealing an Arabic heritage that involves deep muslim ties would be a very serious matter. If our country's citizens are placed at more risk, not only because our new president is a muslim sympathizer, but still maintains close ties with muslims that are involved with terrorist groups...it's a huge deal.

If any American citizen disagrees, perhaps we should ask our Christian brothers and sisters in Iraq, the Sudan, or anywhere else where the people are at the mercy of the mohammadans. They might enlighten us to the dangers. No readical muslim sympathizer deserves to be president of the United States of America. Sadly, many people will choose to vote for Obama no matter what. Some will vote for him just because they desire a black president. Some will vote for him because they believe that he is really going to change something for the better. Some will vote for him because someone told them to. Some will vote for him just because he's a democrat. Either way, the American voters deserve to know.

Thanks for the backup, Skipper. I would also like to point out that no where did I make a statement not to vote for Obama. I asked what I think is a legitimate question seeking the truth, information on this man who might be President. Unable to verify the info I had, I asked here, a place renown for researchers and their abilities to find things out.

I think Obama being 'part Arab' is just Internet tittle tattle and frankly not worthy of discussion. His clearly stated policies would be enough to put me off voting for him if I was a US citizen. But his ethnicity is irrelevant. We'll all find out what kind of man he is soon enough anyway.

Exit40, I was not offended, but I am put off by the lies being pushed by McCain's "that one" is "unAmerican" campaign. Seriously, there are enough issues on the table on which to base one's decision. It is my humble opinion that this rhetoric is divisive, especially coming out of a country that likes to poke its nose in other countries business when America has still has its own 'unAmerican' racially dividing issues barely surpressed under the surface of tolerance...as we can see from this election. It is absolutely bringing out the worse in people to the point now where, instead of the issues being at the forefront of discussion, race issues has its own 30 minute segement on the news.

I have been fortunate enough to talk to different ethic groups (in American and different countries) who truly are being offended by the venom coming out of this election. I said it before and have since heard it repeated in the media serveral times since, it feels like the 60s again.

If you want to see real venom go and read some of the left-wing blogs. The thing these anonymous people say will make your hair curl. But,I almost forgot, they represent those with the genuine compassion.Hypocrites. I came of age in the 60's and feel that I can speak with some knowledge about the godlessness of some of these hypocrites who hold themselves up as a standard we should all try to emulate. All they have done is get a haircut ,put on a suit and entered the teaching,journalism, and political professions. Maybe we shoud quit poking our nose into other country's business by stopping aid in crisis, or not defending ourselves there instead of here.
