Obama's Abortion Bombshell: Unrestricted Abortion Over Wishes of Individual States a Priority for Presidency
http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/jun/08061010.html
"The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act," Obama said in his July speech to abortion advocates worried about the increase of pro-life legislation at the state level
The Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) is legislation Obama has co-sponsored along with 18 other senators that would annihilate every single state law limiting or regulating abortion, including the federal ban on partial birth abortion.
Besides making abortion on demand a "fundamental right" throughout the United States, FOCA would effectively nullify informed consent laws, waiting periods, health safety regulations for abortion clinics, etc.
Furthermore, medical professionals and institutions that refused abortions also would lose legal protections. FOCA would expose individuals, organizations, and governments - including federal, state, and local government agencies - to costly civil actions for purported violations of the act.

We don`t have any decent choices for the presidency in my humble opinion. But everything about this man goes against what the Bible teaches us about righteousness. Listen to what he thinks about the Bible;

GG: What do you believe?
OBAMA: I am a Christian. So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith.
On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences. I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10. My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim. And I'd say, probably, intellectually I've drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.
(Obama says he is a Christian, but one that is influenced by other religions. This is a recurrent theme. Obama either does not see or will not affirm that Christianity is superior to or contrary to other religions. The Christian confession is that "every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.")
So, I'm rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there's an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.
(Obama denies the uniqueness of Christ and the Christian faith. He reduces Christianity to only one of "many paths." Christians confess that there is only one name under heaven whereby you must be saved, Jesus Christ.)
I wish I had more time to go into this now, but I don`t. Like I said, read all the threads here on obama. His sins aren`t from 28 years ago. I for one don`t want him for president under any circumstances. And I definitely don`t want him appointing the lifetime appointments of the 44 appellate courts and federal judges that are coming up. I won`t say what I think of Bush, but he has appointed 1/3 of the federal judges that are out there right now, and they are conservative. The next president will have the power to make lifetime appointments. That may not be important to some people, but as someone who wants our constitution upheld, it`s important to me who sits on the bench. It is a priority to me when it comes to who I will cast my vote for. But I will also fast and pray before it`s time to vote and pray for the Lord to guide me to do his will. Seek the truth.
