I am going to sound NUTS but have no one else to ask here.I read the thing on Constance Cumbeys blog about the mark/microchip.In it she mentioned that she didnt think that pets should be microchipped but in my country its the law and has been that way for years.I have had my cat microchipped 2 years ago when I got her naturally to be lawabiding. My question to you is-IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I HAVE UNWITTINGLY taken the MARK?I know it sounds nuts.Am worried a little because we dont as yet know what the mark IS.How are we supposed to KNOW?When the time comes WILL we know what IS the mark so we know what not to have??Suddenly the thought that it could be microchipping-myself I guess and not animals-please coulld you clear up my confusion?I am fairly certain that microchipping my cat 2 years ago will not cause me to lose my salvation-was just freaking out a little worrying in case Id gotten it wrong.
Thanks Holly

Hi Mel,

Don't worry, you haven't taken the mark. In Revelation, receiving the mark is associated with knowing, willful worship of the Antichrist (Revelation 14:9 and 11). The people who receive the mark will be expressing their allegiance to the Antichrist, against God. We don't even know for sure that the mark of the beast will be a chip, though it certainly may be. There are other developing technologies it could turn out to be. I believe Constance is urging people not to get their pets chipped so they can practice saying no to the mark when it does arrive. That's a good motivation. But people will know what they're doing when they accept the mark.

Hope this helps!
