Biblebeliever...I have a question for you...

Jesus said....that no one has ever seen the Father....and that if we had seen Him...we have seen the Father.

So....who was it that appeared to Abraham and discussed the destruction of sodom and gamorra?

And whop appeared to moses and the elders?

Remember...Jesus Himself said no one has seen the Father except Him.

Exo 24:9
Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
Exo 24:10
And they saw the God of Israel:
and there was under his feet as it were
a paved work of a sapphire stone,
and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Exo 24:11
And upon the nobles of the children of Israel
he laid not his hand:
also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
Exo 24:12
And the LORD said unto Moses,
Come up to me into the mount, and be there:
and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law,
and commandments which I have written;
that thou mayest teach them.

Joh 6:45
It is written in the prophets,
And they shall be all taught of God.
Every man therefore that hath heard,
and hath learned of the Father,
cometh unto me.
Joh 6:46
Not that any man hath seen the Father,
save he which is of God,
he hath seen the Father.
Joh 6:47
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Joh 6:48
I am that bread of life.
Joh 6:49
Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
Joh 6:50
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven,
that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
Joh 6:51
I am the living bread which came down from heaven:
if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever:
and the bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world.

So who was it that appeared to these people in the OT?

1Co 10:1
Moreover, brethren,
I would not that ye should be ignorant,
how that all our fathers were under the cloud,
and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2
And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
1Co 10:3
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1Co 10:4
And did all drink the same spiritual drink:
for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them:
and that Rock was Christ.

But...on top of all this.....why would Jesus say He would pray to Himself?

Joh 14:5
Thomas saith unto him, Lord,
we know not whither thou goest;
and how can we know the way?
Joh 14:6
Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Joh 14:7
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Joh 14:8
Philip saith unto him,
Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Joh 14:9
Jesus saith unto him,
Have I been so long time with you,
and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?
he that hath seen me hath seen the Father
and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Joh 14:10
Believest thou not that I am in the Father,
and the Father in me?
the words that I speak unto you
I speak not of myself:
but the Father that dwelleth in me,
he doeth the works.
Joh 14:11
Believe me that I am in the Father,
and the Father in me:
or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Joh 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me,
the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he do;
because I go unto my Father.
Joh 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask
in my name, that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Joh 14:14
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Joh 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh 14:16
And I will pray the Father,
and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever;

See....either oneness is wrong....or Jesus was being deceptive?

If the *****ures contradict themselves....why believe any of it?

If Jesus couldnt teach us clearly and truthfully on this issue...then why believe Him at all in any of it?

He told us....that He said nothing of His own...but that He only said to us what His Father gave Him to say.

So either He is mistaken...or the oneness belief is.

Why would Jesus present Himself as the only begotten Son of God...if He wasnt?

God is not man that He should lie....we all belong to Him and He can do with us as He pleases...thus has no reason what so ever to decieve us in this matter....or any matter for that reason.

Who do you think this is describing....

Pro 1:20
Wisdom is crying out in the street;
her voice is loud in the open places;
Pro 1:21
Her words are sounding in the meeting-places,
and in the doorways of the town:
Pro 1:22
How long, you simple ones, will foolish things be dear to you? and pride a delight to the haters of authority? how long will the foolish go on hating knowledge?
Pro 1:23
Be turned again by my sharp words:
see, I will send the flow of my spirit on you,
and make my words clear to you.
Pro 1:24
Because your ears were shut to my voice;
no one gave attention to my out-stretched hand;
Pro 1:25
You were not controlled by my guiding,
and would have nothing to do with my sharp words:
Pro 1:26
So in the day of your trouble I will be laughing;
I will make sport of your fear;
Pro 1:27
When your fear comes on you like a storm,
and your trouble like a rushing wind;
when pain and sorrow come on you.
Pro 1:28
Then I will give no answer to their cries;
searching for me early, they will not see me:
Pro 1:29
For they were haters of knowledge,
and did not give their hearts to the fear of the Lord:
Pro 1:30
They had no desire for my teaching,
and my words of protest were as nothing to them.
Pro 1:31
So the fruit of their way will be their food,
and with the designs of their hearts they will be made full.
Pro 1:32
For the turning back of the simple from teaching
will be the cause of their death,
and the peace of the foolish
will be their destruction.
Pro 1:33
But whoever gives ear to me
will take his rest safely,
living in peace without fear of evil.

Sounds like the work of the Holy Spirit doesnt it....

Joh 14:24
The one who does not love Me does not keep My Words.
And the Word which you hear is not Mine
but of the Father who sent Me.
Joh 14:25
I have spoken these things to you,
abiding with you;
Joh 14:26
but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in My name,
He shall teach you all things and shall remind you of all things that I said to you.
Joh 14:27
I leave peace to you; My peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be timid.
Joh 14:28
You heard that I said to you,
I am going away, and I am coming again to you.
If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I said,
I am going to the Father;
for My Father is greater than I.
Joh 14:29
And now I have told you before it occurs,
that when it shall occur you may believe.

If Jesus is God....how can He be greater than Himself?
Do you see the contradictions?

Who is wrong here...oneness or Jesus?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD,and read: no one of these shall fail...Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things old and new...Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.”
Isa.34:16a,Matt.13:52, 2Tim 4:2
A false witness shall perish; but the man that obeyeth shall speak unchallenged.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.Pro 21:28 Luk 21:15
