War after the Marriage supper of the Lamb?

Personally, I think that Rev 9:8 refers to the Marriage and consumation. This takes place in heaven. The marriage supper takes place on earth, after Israel is redeemed and the remnant is invited too. And blessed they are!<br>

A picture of the marriage supper is the Jewish Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles). I've been studying this and I've even found a Jewish tradition that says we will be dining on Leviathan (a very huge fish) and Behemoth (a very large ox). <p></p><i></i>

This depends on what the great tribulation is. I won't make this a long post. Here is a brief timeline and if you have specific questions or arguements then I will try to address those or change my position.<br>

The marriage supper is mentioned when Christ is coming with His armies(angels not the church) in Revelation 19. By this point the Great tribulation has been over for at least 7-8 months possibly longer. <p></p><i></i>

I think we both agree on the timing of the "great" tribulation. It's the timing of the rapture of the true church we disagree.<br>

I'll try to do some studying on the marriage supper and its timing also. I'm not totally sure we agree on the tming of the great trib. I think we agree when it starts but I don't believe that it lasts 3.5 years. I believe it lasts 3 years or less and that the trumpets and bowls are poured out during the remainder of the 7 years and 30 days. <p></p><i></i>

This does not address the marriage supper but it may better help you understand where I'm coming from in regard to great trib. not being the full 3.5 years which affects your position of why church can't go through trib.<br>

The prewrath rapture position, which takes the scriptures in their normative, literal sense unless clearly identified in the scriptural context as figurative, associates the rapture of the church with the sixth seal of Revelation. It is at this time that the Day of the Lord begins, during which period of time, God will administrate his divine judgment and wrath upon those unbelievers who remain on the earth (1 Thessalonians 5:3; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10; Revelation 6:16-17; 8:5). This position sees the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls of the book of The Revelation, as consecutive. The marriage supper is known as Sheva Berachot in Jewish tradition. It is a 7 day feast after the marriage ceremony. Here is an article: <br>

God could use OTHER means of "shortening" the days. He said that in those days the powers of heaven would be shaken with signs and wonders. In the OT, God performed the miracle of the sun moving backwards and standing still. HE COULD DO IT AGAIN! This time he could fast forward it!<br>

There is nothing in the Bible that states that a day is 24 hours long. A day begins at dark and ends as the sun goes down. God could speed up the sun so that there are less hours in a day!<br>

Thanks for the link to the article; I will enjoy reading it. Just for some clarification, I do not believe the trib. is 3.5 years long. I believe it is shorter than that. Its length is anywhere from a short period of time(?) to 3 years and 1 month. The remaining time of the 3.5 years after the trib. is the wrath of God(day of the Lord), the trumpets and bowls. See sixth seal of Revelation 6-day of wrath has come. The second,third,fourth, and fifth seal take place from midpoint until Christ appears in the sky. The seals,trumpets, and bowls are chronological. <p></p><i></i>
