I hate to see any negative news related to the Church. However, I can't help but feel this is a cautionary tale about straying from the truth, and how God can remove his blessing.

I remember seeing that *show* on TV during its height, several years ago, even before I was truly saved. I am glad that garbage is gone...it was literally the money changers and market in the temple. While the Catholic Church has some doctrine that is not entirely Biblical, I think in terms of the kingdom, it is a step in a better direction than what "truth" was previously spewing from that iconic building.
