NAR film, ‘The Trump Prophecy,’ hits theaters this week - Holly

This week, on Tuesday and Thursday, The Trump Prophecy was screened in more than 1,000 theaters throughout the United States. Produced by ReelWorks Studios, in partnership with Liberty University, the film tells the “true story” of a former firefighter from central Florida, named Mark Taylor. Taylor claims God spoke to him in 2011 and told him that Donald Trump was going to be elected president, prior to Trump’s surprise 2016 victory. See the trailer here.

The media reported that the target audience for this film is evangelical Christians. But what many have missed is the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) connection.

The movie is based on a book authored by Taylor, titled The Trump Prophecies: The Astonishing True Story of the Man Who Saw Tomorrow … And What He Says is Coming Next. Taylor claims God told him other things about America’s future, including revelation that Trump will be reelected, that Roe v Wade will be overturned, and that next month’s mid-term election will see Republicans strengthen their control of Congress.

I heard this guy on Rick Wiles "TruNews" back before the election. My reaction to his comments were sarcastic and I didn't think much on this since. In the past week or two, I heard or read somewhere that he was now predicting politician upheaval, to the extent of President Trump declaring martial law, and this guy says not to be alarmed. I understood this guys comments to mean that the president was going to seek prosecution for left leaning persons in politics who have committed crimes against the USA in their endeavors to cause the country to lean more socialist. Again, I didn't even look into what this man was saying, not even pausing as I read or heard about his latest prognostications.....claiming them from the Lord.....and all of a sudden, I get an email from a friend who sent this article to me:

I must say, after reading the Scotus confirmation hearing questioning and having heard or read earlier in the week that this man had cited upheaval, I did wonder if I should invest more time getting details, but so far I haven't had any free time to invest in it. I am rather hesitant for the "thus sayeth the Lord" people out there, because for me, it has, in past, caused too much foolishness to enter into my mind. That said, I am wondering how he gets all these insights....they're pretty detailed and I do wonder is he having dreams or visions from the Lord......

then we find out he is linked to the NAR and again.......smh.......as I suspected.....even pausing for this guys information could cause me to stumble about....

I was reading in Deuteronomy 13 yesterday:

1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Prophets and dreamers who are right in their predictions, it still doesn't mean they are from God. More has to be right than the predictions.

What really jumped out at me was, "for the Lord your God proveth you . . ."

"This is a test. This is only a test. For the next 30 seconds, this will be a test of . . ."

As watchers of prophecy, and as those who put the prophets to the test, what criteria should we use?

Obviously, of the prophecy doesn't come true. What if 90% does? 10%? What about that?

What else?

Much love!
Mark

That's right, Mark.
I know he said President Trump would win the election and that things would turn around in the USA (very liberally paraphrased, and if you want correct information to "test" please find his words to make your determination). As far as I know, and only as far as I know, he was relatively correct or fully correct...but I haven't spent any time on his first or this new revelation he's shared.....that was my point....I dont know.

It just shocked me that the SCOTUS questioning was supposedly centered around or matched what this guy was also saying right before the line of questioning took place....coincidence? relevant?
