Jerusalem to become Egypt’s capital under Mursi’s rule, says

If Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohammed Mursi became president, Egypt’s new capital will no more be Cairo, but the new capital will be Jerusalem, a prominent Egyptian cleric said at a presidential campaign rally, which was aired by an Egyptian private TV channel.

“Our capital shall not be Cairo, Mecca or Medina. It shall be Jerusalem with God’s will. Our chants shall be: ‘millions of martyrs will march towards Jerusalem’,” prominent cleric Safwat Hagazy said, according to the video aired by Egypt’s religious Annas TV on Tuesday.

Jerusalem as the capital of Egypt???
Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous as a country choosing to have as their capital OUTSIDE their physical borders, and extremely vulnerable to attack from many groups? Weird.

What he means is Jerusalem will be the capitol of the united arab states. In other words, the caliph will rule the caliphate from there, which Egypt will be a part of.

Odd, I just read about how in the future of Israel would actually get 5 cities in Egypt to align with them. To worship after the one true G-d with Israel. I want to say it was in Isaiah. Not quite sure. Will find it!

So help me understand here is he saying that these "June 16th" elections usher in the Islamic AC? or maybe I would need to take off 33 min and listen to the whole clip.

I'm not being facetious here and pray that I will not be " stoned" but the " Islam AC theory" just does not jive.

I think all the Arab countries run their mouths about Jerusalem, as well as Israel, from time to time. Especially during election seasons.Their hatred of Israel is the one thing they all can agree on.

This is a Calvary Chapel pastor in Hawaii. Acttually, after he preached Isaiah 19, which is end time prophecy concerningn Egypt...after he preached this Sermon on the 3'rd, Egypts elections were called off, their military has taken control of the country and well....there's a lot happening in Egypt right now. Lots to watch there.


I spent the afternoon listening to a few of his sermons and several of the more recent prophecy watch sermons he gives in his church every Sunday. He is pre trib, and Im not, but that certainly did not distract me from enjoying his sermons. I enjoyed listening to him. Good stuff.....I love to hear the Word.
