I can definately see we are in big trouble. There's no doubt. But, does anyone else have a kind of peace about it all? Almost like it's all suppose to happen according to God's Will. Yes, I understand it. Actually sometime a couple of weeks ago, I realized that Obama was very likely going to be the president and I have been okay with it. Not that I like Obama, but it's like you said, it must be a part of God's plan. So, I'll buckle in for the ride.

Y'all remember Billy Graham's famous statement from...oh, it must be decades ago...to the effect that if God doesn't judge America soon, He's going to have to issue a formal apology to Sodom and Gomorrah? So it's not like we didn't know this was coming. That still doesn't ease the pain and shock of it beginning NOW, though.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one after seeing everybody here weeping and crying about it. In a way, I'm almost happy about it because it shows that prophecy is moving along and Jesus will be back soon. It's weird. I know that the Bible says that we are to pray for Christ's return, but knowing the things that will surround it, it can be hard sometimes.

I am excited to see God working out His plan for the coming of His son and also excited about what opportunities may come with difficult days ahead to share the love of Christ with those in my life.


As for the video- I think they go a bit too far in their commentary and make a lot of assumptions based on speculation of the facts. Things may or may not turn out the way they think. Regardless of how bad things may get- our God is greater than he who is in the world- so we have nothing to fear.

I wasn't overly distraught to see Obama win because it brings us one step closer to going home to be with our Lord! I do have a peace about things and will continue to pray and lean on God for His understanding in all of those things that are surely to come. Remember, God overcame the world and because His spirit is within us we are a testimony of that victory! Rejoice people! Rejoice that soon and very soon we are going to see THE KING!! JESUS!! Who is "they" that said this?? What was the context of the threat? What do "they" mean??

"they" are the commentators on the show at the link. That is just something they think, there is no actual threat or any facts to back that up, it is based primarily on Barak's association with socialists. He never said anything like this himself.

Personally I think these commentators read a bit too much into the man and his intentions.

I am not saying that bad things might come under Obamas' presidency, that very well may be, but it is all in God's hands and we can speculate as to what might happen and become fearful, or we can praise God that he will use the situation to accomplish his will for the world and yes for us as well. Have you ever stopped to think that if Hitler never rose to power, Israel may not now exist again as a nation? God used the situation to work out His sovereign plan. Yes it is sad and horrific that so many were killed and treated wrongly by an evil man, but in the end God's will was accomplished through the intentions of Satan who meant it for evil- but God used it for good. The same will happen again, we know this because God tells us what is to come. In the end God triumphs, even though Satan has evil intent- in the end we will reign on the New earth- we will live eternally. So let's praise God that we may indeed be seeing the fulfillment of His plan.

I am sad about the direction that the US is going, but heartened because it looks like the fulfillment of prophecy may have taken a big step forward.
