Farewill America.

Our once great nation who is now under judgement. They have rejected Him and now He is answering their prayers. He has been kicked out and He is leaving them to help themselves in the day of calamity. He is giving the messiah they want and deserve. With all that is coming they will cry out to Him and He will not hear. Isaiah 18 is becoming clearer and clearer as we go.

Woe unto us. His will be done! He is rightous and His judgements will stand.

I just don't see the Supreme Court deciding on the Berg Case. They will not want a repeat of sorts of the 2000 election. Although, I believe they should hear the case.

I wouldn't concede just yet. They're basing a lot of it on exit polls, those 200 electoral votes are only projections at this point, not fact. Total national precincts reporting is 31% according to CNN at the time of my post. http://www.cnn.com/ That's 69% of precincts still left. A lot could change when that 69% is in. As Jake said, it's not over until it's over.

Well, I voted - for Mc Cain. Just to vote against Obama. I know this state is totally Democrat, but it was the principle. I'm not for McCain either.

Looks like Obama will be it.

I'm disappointed, but I know in my spirit that there is not time for much crying or whining. It is time to get ready. It appears we asked for "Change" and I believe we're gonna get it. I don't think anyone realizes how sweeping this change will be. But I have been praying and just feeling a need to draw close to the Lord right now. It's like the Lord is saying, "there is not much time for mourning. It is time to get ready." Change is coming and the Church needs to get ready for it.

Ya know, I don't understand what the big deal is with change in this country. America is not perfect, but as a whole we are secure and free. Do we really want to change that?

Ugh. And Oprah. She said today on her show that she was voting for a bold new world.

Why is the media so against values?

Because Satan is king of the media. King of Hollywood.

That's why Obama will win.

Grets, do you think us Minnesotans should cede from the Union? Never mind, MN went for Obama.

One GOOD thing that will come of all this, IMHO: Christians will get on their knees and get into the Word like never before when things start getting bad, and people who call themselves Christians will cling to their earthly messiah to fix things during judgement and thus the sheep and the goats will be separated.

Walrus: Colin Powell also said the same, and one other person. (Can't remember now, will have to think about it, maybe it was a EU leader?)

Things that make you go hrmmm....

http://results.enr.clarityelections.com ... a.html#945

Precinct Ballots Cast Registered Voters Voter Turnout
965 999 2,048 48.78 %
966 7 10 70.00 %
967 47 1 4,700.00 %
968 1,889 4,385 43.08 %
969 1,273 2,979 42.73 %
971 869 1,984 43.80 %
973 251 543 46.22 %
999 1,585 3,427 46.25 %
Federal 0 0 0.00 %

Look at Precinct 967...I certainly hope there is a typo involved to account for the extra 46 ballots cast. This is directly from my county's election supervisor's website. Then again, we are in FloriDUH.

There has to be some sort of mistake there. Can there really be a precinct with only one registered voter?
(Updated!) - Please pray for me - I very much need it

Also, (on a completely unrelated note to the prayer request) am I the only one annoyed with people labeling others as "false teachers" or "heretics" because they disagree with your timeline of events when according to Peter, even the prophets themselves didn't completely understand what they were writing? Debate is fine (and even fruitful at times), but let's save those labels for those who truly are false teachers and heretics (and in this day and age, there are plenty to choose from). As long as someone believes in a literal, future return of Christ, I'm fine with them.

:soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox:
(just had to get that off my chest!)

I agree with Final Trumpet's first post--we are now under judgment. Although I don't think it's precisely true that God gave us Obama...I think God lifted His mighty hand of protection from America and allowed Satan to present America with a very tempting messiah look-alike. And sadly, most of our fellow Americans fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

Extravgant--I think this yammering for "CHANGE" is one of those "grass is greener on the other side of the fence" things. Pure greed. We already have it good, but the Great Silencer sang a swan song of how much greener the grass was in his camp...and they drank his kook-aid (yes, I deliberately misspelled it!)

At first I thought, "Well, Obama will surely mess up and create scandals and such and then we can impeach him and remove him from office." Then I remembered that the Dems now control the House and Senate. While it is true that Obama is the most liberal member of the Senate--and left of almost all the House, too--good luck getting even the moderate Dems to get rid of "their" man.

I wanted to sleep later but was moved to get up at 5 to 5:30 to pray for mercy for America.

Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we joyfully acknowledge you and you alone as the one true God who is sovereign over all, and we humbly repent of America's sins, and of our own sins, including tolerating that which we should have stood firm against. In the name of your son, Jesus Christ, please have mercy on all your Believers, your Jews, and those who will come to Christ before it is too late, here in America. We know we're getting what we deserve, but I pray the blood of Jesus over us, that you won't give us all that we truly deserve, and will show us mercy. Please show us what you would have us do in these last days. Amen.

My goodness. Turn on the TV this morning and talk show hosts, news anchors, they're all crying and praising Obama. Particularly on the View. They're upset about a ban that was passed lastnight in Arkansas, banning gay parents from adopting children. Applauding the legalizing of marijuanna for medicine in another state.

Woe to them who call evil good and good evil.

To quote a character from a movie....

"So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause." - Senator Padme Amidala after the new Emperor declares that he turned the Republic into an Empire in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

That is what I keep thinking about when I see the people falling all over themselves to praise Obama.

The question of the day: Will Obama take his oath of office on the Bible or the Koran?

I guess I'm thinking of a different "us". I realize now that you mean "us" as the people of America. I was thinking of "us" as the people of God.

But I consider myself as "people of God" more than "people of America".

Of course, I am an American, but what befalls America is not the same as what befalls me. God is working all of this for my good, and that's different, I think, than what is happening to America.

But even so, is not God's judgement tempered with mercy? Isn't his judgement designed to cause people to come to repentance?

Everything God does is for good. So if the country is under his judgement, good will come of it.

Let's not be pessimists.
