The Waqf Muslim religious trust is digging a ditch from the northern side of the Temple Mount compound to the Dome of the Rock as a prelude to infrastructure work in the area, generating protests from archaeologists.

Well, I say, let them keep digging! Maybe sometime soon, that thing will fall in. Then Israel can cover the whole thing up and build their temple!!!

Hey Triton! I remember a picture you posted once where that little dome was the place of the Holy of Holies (I think it was you at least). Do you still have that somewhere?

This picture of the dig reminded me of:

Anybody know whether the excavations near the Temple Mount that were supposedly to rebuild the bridge walkway were completed?
