Well, if you count brewing coffee - although in some parts of the world (including elite coffee shops in the states) to prepare a good cup of coffee, one does "cook" the coffee beans called a brewing process.

Speaking of popcorn, the next poster will remember the original Jiffy-pop foil popcorn "pan".

You would remove the cover and heat it on the stove top. The foil would puff out like a ballon as the popcorn popped.

LOL....hummers aren't known for gas mileage, but we go places in ours, and the more scratches and gashs it gets, the better I feel about the fact that the gas mileage is really not acceptable. (That being said, try trading to something else right now....the very definition of unacceptable is the trade value of these things!)....I think I will just stick with what I've got! We make up for hummer bad mileage as my husband drives a motorcycle many days and the Hummer can sit in the driveway! It "evens" out!

The next person to post is thinking about baking an apple pie within the next week.

Precisely 24 hours ago, I had 3 apple pies in my oven... LOL  We used one today at dinner, but I have two in the freezer.

Oh, and do you know how to make an absolutely wonderful apple pie? Here's my recipe:
crust: 1 and 1/4 cups whole wheat pastry flour + 1 tsp salt, cut in 1/3 cup lard, and toss w/cold water sprinkles till moistened just enough to make a ball.
filling: 4 or 5 cups of apple slices. Toss them with a mixture of 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup of dark brown sugar, and a tsp cinnamon. Place in pie crust, dot with a Tbsp of butter, and pour in 1/2 cup of milk. Moisten edges with water to seal top crust down. Top with top crust, crimp edges, cut slits, and bake for an hour. Serve to anyone you want to make feel loved.

Okay, time to predict... hmmm...

Actually YES! The sickness is gone. I took a good bit of Colloidal Silver, and it seems to have helped. The kids did not come down much.. Only one snuffly nose now.

This weekend, I hope to take a drive of about 100 miles, to visit the church I grew up in, and also visit the house my daddy built. I hope to roam the neighborhood, and mull over the memories. It will help to make the stories I tell to my kids, seem more real.

Ok... next poster loves hats.

Well, that's true.

The next poster has plans to go to a museum this month.

We are still on the museum. No....not me. I have waited and waited for some "edified" person to take this one on, but I am sorry to say, I have decided to wait no longer, and I am the worst for visiting museums and the like. I will be the one down at the county fair swinging from ride to ride and having the time of my life...I don't think I ever grew up!

The next person has visited the Grand Canyon!

Yes, once when I was so young that I don't remember being there :( . But I have been to other amazing places I'll never forget, both in this country and abroad, so that's okay.
