Hi Holly,

I don't know if you anticipated the firestorm of questions you would be asked concerning the end times. I admired your fathers way of cutting to the heart of the matter to maintain focus on the essentials of the issue.

One thing I am learning to keep in mind: The Word of God is Jesus. Not the words in the Bible. The words in the Bible, the law and the prophets, they testify of Jesus, His office, His deity, and His ministry.

It was not an oversight that Jesus Himself did not directly write any books with methods, insights, to becoming more spiritual.

He left witnesses to testify of Himself.

There is very little doctrine or theology in the Bible. It all comes down to this. What is His name, and His Son's name?

The spies who brought back a bad report on Caanen really brought back a bad report on the the character of God. Peter sank beneith the waves not becuase he didn't believe or have enough faith that he could walk on water, but becuase he took his eyes off Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith.

Then we go to letters such as James that ask the question, do you really have faith in Him?

Remeber what Paul wrote: The only thing that matters is faith working through love.

We love becuase He first loved us.

The gates of Hades will not prevail because we have responded to the gospel as the Word of God, not the word of men, and we have, as the Berans, affirmed that this teaching is in line with, and in fullfillment of the law and the prophets. And now we who believe have been sealed by the Holy Spirit who does not bring to our mind doctrine, but instead, as to children, cries out with our regenerated spirit "Abba, Father".

Our relationship to God, and our achor for eternity is not a doctrine, religious practice or philosophy, but rather a relationship to God, our creator, through His Son. No man or women comes to the Father except by Him. And we are complete in Him in whom the fullness of Diety dwells in bodily form, joint heirs, not becuase Jesus is an example of how we are to act, but rather, Christ is the end of the law to all who believe. No man or women comes to the Father of all spirits except through Him. In Christ there is neither male nor female, slave nor free, jew nor greek, but all the promises given to Abraham are in Him, yes and amen.

And the rest in this revelation has changed our relation to those in the body of Christ, where we judge no man or women by the outward appearance, but instead we look on the unseen, the truth of who we are in Christ as revealed by the Spirit.

And all who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure.

Grace to you,
