New posts orange button doesn't always work

Is there a reason that new posts or even threads don't light up the orange bells? Sometimes there's quite a few that don't show up.

I only have one window open when this happens.

Hi Karen,

I've noticed that when I close out my browser that has Fulfilled Prophecy on it, any unread orange bells will no longer be orange when I open up a new browser and then get back into the board.

The reason the threads don't show up as orange when you log back in is because the board is only flagging new posts that are made since you last logged out.

I don't know if this BB has the ability to allow you to track which threads you have read and which you haven't across multiple sessions... or to view threads with unread posts. Doing so would likely require enabling session tracking cookies of some sort for the BB. If the board supports their use at all.
