Is there a way to copy and paste someone else's post complete with its formatting? ie quotes, underlines, color etc?
Just observing.

Maybe I'm not quite understanding your question, Ready1, but I just copied and pasted your post here in it's entirety.

Now I'll copy and paste my response to see if the color code is included in my next post.

Explorer has a function under "View" that enables you to see the formatting of an entire page including the codes but it's very complicated and imo not usable for the purpose you apparently want. The same option in Firefox is found under "Tools" and "Web Developer" options, but again it's way too complicated to be of use.

I'm wondering if a screenshot might do? I'm not familiar with that option.

I think the answer to your question is no. Sometimes the only option available is to provide a link to the post/comment/article for the reader to view in it's entirety.

You can copy a post with it's formatting and all by using the Quote Reply function. When you quote another post, it inserts the contents of the post including formatting codes into your new post. You can then use the contents of the new post to Select Copy Paste to where you want it.

Give it a try, let me know if something doesn't happen right.

Much love!

It worked!! The color in my previous post showed up in my new post!

So rather than using the "copy and paste" method, the "Quote" method works!!

Thanks Mark!
