One Heartbeat Away, From Mark Cahill
Comments from Mark on why he wrote the book: People have asked me, since I talk to a lot of people and do a lot of witnessing, to write a book based on my conversations with lost people, specifically to those who are seeking and searching—a book that would anticipate their questions and speak to their objections. One Heartbeat Away is exactly that.

So many lost people I’ve talked to want to know, “Is this all a blind faith issue, or can it be a legitimate, calculated leap of faith?” This book provides answers to that question as well as the following:

Can you prove there is a God?
Doesn’t evolution disprove the existence of God?
Can you prove the Bible true?
What is out there after I die?

All of this information is laid out in a reader friendly style, just as in my first book, One Thing You Can’t do In Heaven. There are many exciting stories you haven’t heard before—from near death experiences, to what certain celebrities believe, to a guy who is a building jumper. He actually jumps from building to building for fun. Of course, I asked him if he had ever missed before! What if I told you his answer was, “Yes.”

Even though this book is written to address issues of sharing with the nonbeliever, it will also be good for those of you who want to be armed with answers to the questions that you know you’re going to get when you are out there sharing and witnessing. You can now have the ammunition to answer their questions, with strong evidence.

Enjoy reading and sharing with others!

Here is a video you can watch of Mark talking about this book.

This book is a great resource and has helped me have answers for people I share with. This is also a great book to give to people you have been sharing with. He also has an MP3 version read by the author you can buy from his site @
