I have a 6-mo. ARM mortgage. I've had it since 1990. About a year ago, my monthly bill started coming without an interest rate on it. I phoned over a 6-7 mo. period asking and each time was told they'd check into it. One gentleman said he'd never seen a 0% interest rate before and that he'd request a review of my account and they'd notify me by mail as to the correct rate.

Several weeks ago, a letter came reporting a $7,000 back payment of interest due, BUT they would forgive the amount and I owed nothing. I'm guessing the review of my account showed the number of times I called to report the error, but got no help so they knew I had at least tried.

Since we hear so many horror stories about the banks and mortgage companies over the past several years, I thought I'd praise the Lord for my experience with one!
