I need prayers....

I need prayers....

Postby Roger Craft on Wed Jul 13, 2005 11:10 pm

Please pray for me as I am going through some very difficult times right now in regards to home, school, social, and my Christian faith. I am probably 2 parts past sane but have found myself questioning all of the facts that are found within this discussion board (hence my lack of participation). satan has been working on me day in and day out trying to claim my soul and I fear he's trying to deceive me by jading The Truth which is all around me.

I know I ask people if they believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior and I do also but am fearful of the sins which I have committed on this Earth as not being forgiven....I know I'm not worthy to be forgiven and people say if I have Jesus to not be afraid...but because I'm human, I am frightened and all of this is weighing heavy on my heart. So Dear Christian family, please keep me in your prayers as I fight with this ongoing battle of sin in my life.

Peace and Blessings,

Youre in my prayers dear brother
Jesus will forgive you of your sins, you just simply have to ask. His blood covers all of your sins. Trust Him. I very recently went through what you are going through, I even questioned the validity of the bible. That is satan, throwing in doubts. Don't let satan have an inch. God is the one in control, not satan, not you, God. He loves you, He will guide you, have faith in Him. You cannot do this on your own, You need Him, Lay this at His feet, submit to Him, Draw closer to Him. He is the Almighty, and He doesnt want to see you suffering over this, Stay in constant prayer. He will see you through, you need to trust Him, and not give into the doubts that satan is throwing at you. You will be in every prayer I have until He sees you through this. If you need to talk Roger, you can pm or email me if you like. I completely understand what you are going through.
Hi Roger, I found this, I hope you find it comforting

WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN AM I STRONG

By A. W. Tozer

. . .For when I am weak, then am I strong.
- 2 Corinthians 12:10

Everything we need is found in Jesus Christ, the Son
of God - and I think it is fair to say that we can never use
all of the spiritual power and victory He is able to
provide. He is all the guilty sinner needs and He is more
than the fondest expectations of the loftiest saint!

If we are going to stand up for Jesus, it is good for us to
remember how strong He is - and how weak we are! I
settled this long ago. I tell you I have talked to God more
than I have talked to anyone else and my conferences
with Him have been longer than with anyone else.

I have told Him: "Now, Lord, if I say what I know in my
heart I should say, and if I do what I know I should do, I will
be in trouble with people and with groups."

Then after praying more, I have said: "Almighty Lord,
I accept this with my eyes open! I will not run. I will not
hide. I will dare to stand up because I am on your side;
and I know that when I am weak, then I am strong!"

So, I don't let anyone praise me and I try not to pay
attention to those who would blame me, for I am only a
servant of the holiest man that ever walked the streets
of Jerusalem - and they called Him a devil!

This is how I have learned to stand fast for Christ, and
for all that He is to His own!

Quote Scripture Roger. Stay in the word! Psalm 91 is a good one to read during spiritual warfare.

Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]

2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

Roger , take time off and just sit back and let God do what he must do within you. When I get overwhelmed with questions, I simply put everything down . I dont read, I dont study, I dont watch, I dont participate, I simply just let God do what he wants, when he wants . You will find by not filling any part of you with "stuff" that God will fill you up with himself. He will clearly give you what you need in his time. Be patient and be still and know that he is God.

Remember the mind is the devils playground and he has a way of beating us up everytime. STop allowing him to WIN.

I need to share this with you as a example of how God takes sin away.

Years ago when I was seperated from my husband (by the way we have been back together for 9 years now) anyway, we were seperated and one day God audiably spoke to me and told me to go back to my husband. At that split second every ounce of resentment, hate, and sin was taken from me and my mind and body felt as light as the air. God took it all away from me . I now see how sins are like a iron blanket weighing us down. But, I also have experinced the true love of God by knowing he has taken our sins away.

The reason I gave this example is because our sins are the tools in which satan beats us up. Our shoulders are heavy as a iron blanket.

If you must, cry like a baby, stomp your feet, or scream from the roof tops but give it all to God. He is there waiting to release you from the burdens ..Remember that is why Jesus died for us.

Will keep you in prayer.

With love my dearest brother
Rodger,
Don't give up and don't give in either!!!

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he shall flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you doubleminded.
James 4:7-8

I know that sounds harsh, I'm sorry.

God's word is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and it is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 KJV

Wash your mind with God's word daily!!! This will empower you to recognize the enemy when he comes knocking and trying to steal your peace and if possible your very hope!!!

Roger, God the Father loves you more than you can imagine.
When He created man in His own image, He said it was "very good"! God is not a liar, Satan is the liar and he wants to steal and kill and destroy. He manipulated and lied to Eve,
and stole Adam and Eve's peace and hope.
Now, we are able to regain that peace and lost fellowship
with God through the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ.

When you accepted Christ as your savior as your sacrifice
You not only became born again, but you were given ALL AUTHORITY IN JESUS" NAME!!!! We are joint heirs of God's kingdom with Jesus!!! You tell them to go and they must go!!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2Tim. 1:7

Blessings to you Roger,
I'm praying,
Sheri
