Need prayers today at 1:30 p.m. (CST)

Postby Roger Craft on Mon Jun 27, 2005 3:06 am

Hi everyone,

I would like prayers today as I give a speech on eschatology. I only get to talk for about 5-7 minutes but have a bunch of printed artifacts I will pass around during the speech in hopes of opening the eyes, ears, and hearts of about 25-30 people so they may too have eternal salvation by Grace through Faith in Christ Jesus.

Thank you!
Peace and Blessings,

Roger
Father, You've told us faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of Christ, so I'm praying Jesus' words will come from Roger's mouth and that the Holy Spirit will go ahead of him and prepare the soil of the listeners' hearts for His words. Let Your truth be like a bright light that burns away the dark lies.

Interesting as I came to post this I was clicking the wrong hyperlink not once but twice to this section so I am going to also post it in that section (the praise section)......!!

I think I stunned and opened the eyes of roughly 20-30 people today in my speech! I was very nervous talking about such the "untalkable" in front of a class but God's Word showed through! None of them had heard of "Recommendation XXX" (you know, I just can't stand that number!!) I had lots of good feedback and lots of people who were just shocked as I showed them pictures of various websites that I'm guessing most of us visit....
Father, we know Roger's speech with Your words is not the end of it, so we will be watching for You to fulfill Isaiah 55:11, because You, God, are the perfect Promise Keeper.

Bless Roger for his willingness to share Your truth.
