A friend of mine needs prayers

A friend of mine needs prayers

Postby Roger Craft on Mon May 09, 2005 2:51 am

Last night a friend of mine who has been struggling the battle with alcohol and drug addiction relapsed (he made it 90 days). I'm very concerned as he's had suicidal tendencies in the past and to me a relapse = temporary suicide (at least that's what it would be for me). Please uphold my friend in your prayers that God will guide and direct him back to The Lord's path.
Thanks for your prayers...I ask that you alllllllllllllll please pray for him and now for me. The whole situation has me so overwhelmed and severely depressed because I feel my hands are tied due to school. Someone told me awhile back I should stay with my friend until he is strong enough to be ok on his own and 98 days of recovery later he threw his hands up in the air. I just had 6 months of recovery time one day at a time and this whole ordeal has both broken my heart and left me feeling very guilty. Well I thank you for your prayers....and will be praying tonight before I go to sleep as usual but have a place in my heart that feels like it was ripped out of me yesterday.

Peace and Blessings,
