My granddaughter bird

My granddaughter bird

This may sound funny. But my granddaughter Kelly has a thing for birds. She has 2 budgies. Yesterday when she came home from school her bird Bevo, was vomiting and she got so upset she called a Vet. Kelly is now 18 and worked hard at McDonalds last year. She wanted to take the bird to the vet. They put the bird on a med incase its a bacteria. She was so upset. She loves her birds very much. I told her that I would put Bevo on the prayer list. Our furry and feather babies are so important to us. She says she plans to take her birds to college with her. Thank you! :a2:

Prayers for Bevo..
Psalms 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Just a FYI... All parrots regurgitate for their young and for their mates. It is common when they get aroused. When parrots are bonded to a human, they will regurgitate for them also.

So, hopefully that is all it was.

There are certain times of the year when they are more hormonal and you may see this behavior more.
