hello all,

I am asking that if the Lord leads you to could you please pray that I will find my wedding/engagement ring. I have no idea when I lost it or where. I lost some weight recently and as a result it fit very loosely, It may have come off when I removed my gloves somewhere along the line, I have looked everywhere I can think of and called and left a message at the church where we attended for Christmas eve. As you would expect, It has both sentimental and monetary value. Please pray that it will turn up.

I know God is able, I know a lady who lost her engagement ring in the stones of the church parking lot, and many years later she happened to look down and found it in the same lot. So I know it is possible, though I'd rather not wait years!!!

RT, my mom lost hers for a couple of years as well. She ended up finding it in her nativity Christmas display box one Christmas. True story!

but I prayed and Kept on believing.....found it in my clothes drawer......months later......fell off when I put clothes my in my chest of drawers....

So far haven't found it, but like Mrs. B so aptly wrote- God knows exactly where it is, and if He so desires it will be revealed to me where He has hidden it. Thank you all for your prayers- I am hopeful that it will turn up, one way or another sooner or later.

So after all these months and after purchasing a new albeit used set of rings- guess what turned up today!! Yep my wedding/engagement ring! The Lord has answered!

My daughter was outside with our newly adopted kitty and noticed something shiny on the driveway in a pile of sawdust that my husband had put on some oil a few weeks ago to soak it up, there in the sawdust was my ring. It must have fallen off when I took the sawdust out of the bag we store it in and put some in a bucket for my husband to keep in the garage for cleaning up oil spills. It's a good thing he didn't sweep it up and throw it out like he usually would, he forgot about it and today it was found- thanks to the new cat and my daughter's keen eyes! And of course the prayers heard by the Lord!

Wow. I had faith it would turn up one day. Praise the Lord.

On a side note,I would be very careful in letting a young cat just run loose. Its a different world now, for even our pets. Some people trap neighborhood cats using traps and canned cat food, and take them elsewhere and leave them to starve. Not to mention all the Coyotes that are making a big comeback in the east, that eat cats. Grown cats and dogs are prey to them, so young cats don't stand a chance.

My Testimony for today...
It has not rained here in days.....our grass is dead....brown and waisting away....I begin to Pray for rain...
I prayed and beleived...
Here came the Rain.......it rain over our house for an hour...
My grandson's birthday was at 5 but because of the rain we could not leave....so when we arrived I expected to see rain at my daughter's house.....no rain. They live about 5 miles from us...and they did not get a drop......the wheather radio said......Viola, it is raning....and it rain, and it rain.....and now a few days later....MY Grass is so high we had to let our ponies in the yard to eat the grass.......I Glory in God who answers Prayer.......Learn to Pray and BELIEVE.
Have Faith when you pray...believe. Nothing is impossible to Him who Believes.....

Yes I suppose it could, but the new one I got I actually like better and so does my husband so I am wearing the "found" one on my right hand, which is a tad bigger, so it fits just fine. I'll wear both!

As for the cat- yes- lesson learned. The cat we adopted is an older cat, purposely so that it will stand a better chance. We do know the dangers, and have seen coyotes and fox in our area. Our other cat did well for 11 years outside in the end it was a car that was his undoing even though we live far off the street. This new cat is also a female, which tend to stick closer to home, she is also black so harder to see at night. Hopefully she will be smart enough to stick near the house and not venture off too far. If we end up losing her, I don't think we'll seek to get another, but as far as I'm concerned whatever life she has here is far better than living in a tiny cage at the shelter, she was adopted out once before and returned to the shelter, so likely was not going to be around too much longer. I prayed to find a ring--and the Lord answered- now I will pray that this cat does not get lost!

Some might call it coincidence, but I believe God cares about the small things in our lives and that He hears our prayers concerning what might seem to be trivial to some, but when they are answered are small miracles to others.

I would call it an answered prayer. I was thinking earlier this evening that God has been in control of helping us stabilize in the 20 years I've owned my business. It never fails....when we have extra time, we have extra work, and when things are hectic in our personal life, for whatever reason, the work will slow down and give us the extra time needed to deal with our personal matters. I can see the Handprint of the Lord all through my life, from the seemingly smallest things all the way up to the great big things. He does love us, does provide for us, and is able to be sovereign over ALL things and ALL people, all at the same time!
