This will probably be the last update on this matter. The surgeon found a large mass in the pancreas that the other Docs missed. He says it is probable that it is inoperable. He crushed my parents by telling them that it may have been operable a few months ago when my Dad's internal med doc kept tell my Dad it was just his nerves. I'm sure there will be time for being upset and mad about this fact, but I was able to pray the sinner’s prayer with my Dad. I can only guess as to if he prayed this from his heart, but prior to this he told me that he has been praying to God the last couple of weeks. Please pray for the working of the Holy Spirit in my family right now for peace and comfort and hope. I will be flying to NY next week to be with my folks. Bless all of You for your continued prayers. Your Brother in Christ Vince.

Vince,

How long did they give him? I am so sorry to hear the news and am lifting him up in prayer.
I am not a god or a doctor, and nothing i say should be construed as medical advice or even as correct. I am merely a living soul who is exercising my unalienable rights, endowed upon me by my creator, and recognized in the Constitution for the united States of America, to freely speak about the things i believe. No other soul should grant my words any weight without first determining their credibility and/or accuracy for themselves.

The surgeon is taking my Dad's case to a symposium this weekend to see if any other docs have a differing opinion on removing this mass. He told my Dad to prepare for bad news. That's all I know right now. Thank you for praying. I really thank the Lord for you guys.

Oh Vince, :comfort: I am sad to hear this but I am THRILLED to hear you prayed with your dad! Thank You Yeshua!

Lord, please comfort all of them today. Life is such a roller coaster. I thank You for this prayer and I trust that You are touching his heart and soul today. Give him peace that passes all understanding Lord. This life is but a vapor in light of eternity. I pray You will help them through the days ahead. Whatever the outcome and treatment Lord, please keep him comfortable. May his life be a testimony to others. We can do all things through You and I praise You for all You are accomplishing in this family today. Guide the physicians Lord. Protect the family from doubt and bitterness. Keep their eyes focused on You because we know You are in control of it all and You have a plan. Thank You Yeshua.

Dearest Yeshua,

Watch over Vince as he travels today. Give him safe passage. I pray for Your peace to envelope this family. Lord, it's so hard to watch our loved ones who are experiencing health issues. This is a very big deal. We know that You are much bigger than this cancer Lord. This hasn't caught You by surprise at all. Thank You for Your plan, even though it isn't something expected or desired. You will use it for good somehow. Help them to run this race that lies before them and to look to You through the doubts, fears, uncertainties, and heartache. Please encourage them today and grow their relationship with You. You have perfect timing for everything Lord. Thank You for loving them today and through this life. Amen.

I just got back from NY last night. It was a really hard trip, but also a blessing in that My Mom and Dad are very open to praying and reading the word. I Indexed passages of scripture for my Dad to read and put them under topics like "When You Feel Depressed" etc. I'm trying to get my folks to come out as soon as they find out from the Doc on Friday how long my Dad has to live. When they find out I told my Dad that this was not the end of the fight, and that we would continue to pray for healing and look into other treatments. He is so weak right now and has lost so much weight that I'm not sure how much he could fight. Anyway, Thanks for your continued prayers. Blessings. Vince

2 Timothy 2:24a..And the servant of the Lord must not strive ...
The meaning is, that the servant of Christ should be a man of peace. He should not indulge in the feelings which commonly give rise to contention, and which commonly characterize it. He should not struggle for mere victory, even when endeavoring to maintain truth; but should do this, in all cases, with a kind spirit, and a mild temper; with entire candor; with nothing designed to provoke and irritate an adversary; and so that, whatever may be the result of the discussion, "the bond of peace" may, if possible, be preserved.

Well yesterday my Dad got the news from his Doctor that the tumor that is close to his pancreas is right on a blood vessel and that is why they can't operate right now. They are going to treat it with chemo to try and shrink the tumor so that it can be removed. I just got off the phone with my Dad and he is at a really low point. I try to reassure him that God loves him and knows what he needs to get through this time in his life. I prayed this prayer with him that I found on the web from a Christian woman who was dealing with cancer.
"God is our hope and promise. He is in control and He does perform miracles. We are part of His family and He does love us. Even when we are in serious trouble, we do not need to be afraid, but just trust Him. He is concerned about our daily needs, as well as our problems. He can see the big picture and knows what is best for us. We need to rest in Him, obey Him, and seek His will daily through prayer and reading the scriptures. God looks at our hearts. Our problems can bring us closer to God and heal our hearts so we can reflect His light and love to others."
While I can't be with my folks physically I told my Mom that I would call my Dad every morning to talk to him and pray with him...Please pray that the Lord gives me the words to say to help encourage and comfort my father. Bless you all. Vince

DRDOS,

I am so sorry to hear about you father's condition. I can only imagine his thoughts right now. But don't give up... God still heals, by miracles, by the hands of fellow men, and by the food he gave us to eat, and by the sun he gave us to enjoy.

I pray for your fathers full recovery, and his continued growth in Christ...

He should be baptized as soon as possible, and laid hands upon for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Feed the spirit and soul first and foremost.

I have to say DRDOS, in doing all the research on radiation from Fukushima, I actually learned a lot more about carrot juice... and the more i learn, the more i am convinced it is one of God's most perfect foods. That being said...

I would encourage you to help your dad, as we have discussed, to pursue the high nutrient density healing that is available to him via the protocols of the Hallelujah Diet, and/or The Gerson Protocol. They can't hurt him, and can only help to nourish his body and reduce the trauma he will suffer to his body as he undergoes chemotherapy.

I firmly believe that the more he embraces green juicing, the better equipped his body will be to both cope with and make the best use of his chemo, and reduce the damage done to healthy cells.

Also, if he has problems keeping solids down... the juice may be the only sure way to get adequate nutrition into him... as it will usually pass out of the stomach before he can bring it back up.

I pray that God will bless and keep you and all those of your household in his loving embrace while you all endure this trial.

Thank you all for your prayers. My Dad starts chemo on Monday. The doctors are not giving him any hope though. The cancer has metastasized and they have found tumors on his lungs as well. I love my Dad, and want him to live but I also don't want him to suffer anymore so if the Lord takes him home soon I am OK with that. Blessings.

:( So sorry to hear this brother. I understand about the suffering. My dad died after taking all those treatments and I have watching my mother and grandmother and grandfather suffering in their last hours and It wasn't that I wanted to give them up but I would rather do so than to watch them suffer. May the Lord be with you and your dad at this time and give you courage and strength. May our Lord have mercey to see that the suffering is done quickly and not extended. That is my prayer for you. DrDos, I am praying for your father, and i really hope he is doing something really serious nutritionally as we discussed, in order to offset the damage chemo is doing to his healthy cells.

The nice thing about sound nutritional support is that low carb, low acid forming, high alkaline forming foods, help to starve cancer cells and feed/repair healthy ones. So it supports his chemo, while reducing it's negative affects on healthy tissues.

Did he go to Cancer treatment centers of America? or is he staying local?
I am not a god or a doctor, and nothing i say should be construed as medical advice or even as correct. I am merely a living soul who is exercising my unalienable rights, endowed upon me by my creator, and recognized in the Constitution for the united States of America, to freely speak about the things i believe. No other soul should grant my words any weight without first determining their credibility and/or accuracy for themselves.

Yeah he is staying local. He is currently taking Flax Seed oil, and looking at drinking carrot juice during his Chemo just getting approval from his Oncologist.. I know I know I've talked to him about the carrot juice, but he won't do anyting without his Doc's approval. Problem is most Doc's are clueless when it comes to natural treatments. There are other things he is doing as well, but my wife would know better than I. Ineed to ask her tonight when I get home. Thanks for praying, and following up. Blessings
