When I registered on this website I couldn't come up with anything clever. I use ally on most other sites so to make it simple for me I then added the last 4 numbers of my phone. When I see some of the other names, I think to myself why couldn't I come up with something cute. Oh well!

Postby wendysquirel on Fri Apr 23, 2004 4:30 pm

My name came from a pet my husband and I got right after we got married. Her name was Wendy and she was a teacup poodle and about 9 years old. Her back was arched a bit and she had an enlarged heart. When she would sit down she reminded us of a squirrel the way her back arched, so we called her Wendysquirel.

She died about 3 years ago, but the name just stuck...
I used to be "oblivious" to just about everything. And that was okay. "Ignorance is bliss" was my opus.

Now I don't think it's okay. I'm still oblivious to vast extent. But not because I want to be. I want to be "X"-oblivious.
Then again, oblivion does have its advantages...
Yes, not far out! Actually Mum gets to do most of that as I work five days a week! However we are managing quite well and every day is different.
Plus there is so much going on in the world at the moment and each month seems to have ended as soon as it has begun.
Also I distribute (some by mail and some letterboxing)articles mainly from the internet exposing what is really happening out there. I use Herbs articles as well as others. Two other favourites are Last Trumpet N/L (published once a month) and The Cutting Edge (subscription required to access latest articles and republishing not encouraged). Both these authors have a history of having once been involved in witchcraft and the occult before being saved by our Lord Jesus. This history gives their commentary considerable authority.
You may have noticed its taken me quite a while to respond to your post.

I have been a big Rush fan all my life.
I know they have some pagan influences. They are not Christian in any way.
I like Rush because of thier technical abilities. They are fantastic musicians. All 3 of them.

I agree with your post in a way, but I cannot completly agree with it.

Maybe as a Christian I should stay away from that type of secular music, but, the musician in me says I HAVE to learn from thier technical abilties and apply it to my own style.

After much consideration, I cannot ignor the musical genius of Rush.

So the words are not exactly Christian, its the music and ability I'm interested in anyway.

Fleetwood MAC are my favorite band of all time.
Why?
Because as a musician, I admire the sound they make together.

I only wish Christian Music could be so effective.
Thats my goal.
To make Christian music just as effective as secular music.
Will accomplish that?
Yes I will in my corner of the world.
LOL .....

Ok here it is ...

I write inspirational poetry ..
inspirationalpoetry.homes...yHome.html

My first dig online looking for others poetry all I found was very dark poetry .....
I went and posted some of mine to them and they became very hostile to my inspirational stuff ....
I considered that poetry as not of fine quality lol ...(depressing and hurtful and could cause many to fall into the same by reading them )
I did consider mine to be of finer quality(inspirational and uplifting) (yes I know it sounds conceited but it was not I had good intentions of it ) ....

So my nickname was FineQualityPoet
I shortened it when I started on message boards

I have used these online just to shorten it ... FQP ,Finepoet,Fineqpoet ......

bpiltz - first initial (Brian) and last name.

When I enrolled at the University of Wyoming (UW) this is how they asigned e-mail accounts if you don't have a request. I didn't. By the time I graduated it was pretty ingrained. When I enrolled at the University of Washington (UW) I kept it.

Ho boy...Gonna be a good sized list. I use a bunch of aliases.

Baskar - A nickname I've used for 14 years. No meaning behind it.

Baskar RuneScythe - This nick is used for any online rpg's I play and enjoy.

Kraelor - No meaning behind it whatsoever. Just made it up.

Vindar - same as above

Blackwing - My first alias/handle. Made it up when I was 6 years old. Needed an alias to log into a local bbs (bulletin board system). Used that handle for 10 years, then went to Baskar.

Praying4Revival - the nick I use most regularly. Mainly used for chats and of course my email. Why this name?
I believe that Revival starts in the hearts of men/women. Not through scheduled revivals, but in your heart. It starts as a flame of passion. That hunger that drives you to learn, sink into the Word and in the Spirit...Eventually, turns into a raging fire, spreading to all who'll lend an ear or open their hearts. Revival is in God's time, not man's.

Wow ...i didn't know this thread existed...

i guess you could say that my name is self explanatory. Well it is
I think, and i am sure you will all agree, that we are living in super "exciting times"... I am enjoying the unraveling of end-time prophecies. God has us all in suspense.. we don't know exactly what is going to happen... we know the basics... but not the specifics... So it is super exciting to watch this end-time show.... Better than any movie.... any day .....

Not the way I wanted to put it, but then I'm not always good with words. Sometimes I have it, sometimes I don't. But I think that got the right message out. Glad you enjoyed that, Blessed.

Side note - -- I like that emoticon. It's cute.
