Yes, thank you! Through their advertisement I learned that in '06 AOL released three months' worth of aggregated search data from 650,000 of its users, publishing all the details in an online database. This database is still searchable. According to Ixquick it is an absolute eye-opener to see the potential for privacy nightmares. They're right. I did as they instructed and found the records of someone's searches, and just by viewing their searches I knew it was:

1) a Christian woman
2) with children
3) who loves to travel the southern states
4) she receives alimony
5) lives pretty comfortably
6) possibly suffers from arthritis
7) and is interested in natural medicine.

It's one thing to be concerned about strangers digging up personal information on you, but very disturbing when you actually see for yourself how your thoughts are basically recorded by your computer and then read and exploited by others.
