On info wars they are making the correlation of arms confiscation and the UN Arms Trade Treaty, They refer to the Forbes article here:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/larrybell/2 ... -the-deal/You can read about the treaty here:
http://www.un.org/disarmament/convarms/ArmsTradeTreaty/From what I have read the treaty has nothing to do with our right to bear arms, it has more to do with what governments are doing to keep legal weapons from falling into the hands of those who would use them for illegal activity. The whole issue of US troops breaking into homes and taking weapons , which I agree is disturbing, is unrelated to the UN arms trade treaty.
The video also mentions this document:
http://dosfan.lib.uic.edu/ERC/arms/freedom_war.html which by itself at least to me is very disturbing. However it does help to get some context to it all which can be found here:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... lB23_MIDaQI tend to believe that Infowars is a little heavy on the fear mongering, but underneath all the hype is often an element of truth that does bring with it some fear for what the future could hold. That grown men (and women) sat around a table and created such a document is telling, because if they can believe such a thing is possible then they can also implement it when the time is right and they believe it can be attained. The fact that in the aftermath of Katrina, that guns were confiscated from citizens is very telling.
