Obama Picks Anti-Israel Advisor To Head Atrocities Preventio

President Obama has picked Samantha Power to head up his new Atrocities Prevention Board. Ironically enough, the Board launches Monday, the same day President Obama speaks at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, where he will be introduced by author Elie Wiesel.

I still do not understand how some people can not see Obama for what he really is. Samantha Powers is the brain child behind the Responsibility to Protect Doctrine and is married to Cass SunStein. Here's an oldie but goodie from Glenn Beck:

In reponse to your statement, David, he IS living in the same world. The world that is cursed, fallen, dying in sin and under the control of the powers and principalities of Evil. We who have surrendered our lives to Jesus, have had our eyes opened through the spirit. I weep for those that are still in darkness.

What seems so clear to us that follow Christ is folly to them. The Bible is very clear that until the Spirit guides and instructs, there is no understanding of God's truth.

It is very hard to watch what is happening, and beleive me there are times when I feel anger coming up in my face. But, those are the times I pray, and remember that God and his Son, our Lord are in control of all things! That doesn't mean I don't do anything to try and make things better, quite the contrary. I work hard to help others, I show love and care where I can, and I will vote my conscience this fall. I believe that what we are seeing all around us, is prophecy being fulfulled. I now end every prayer the way that Jesus did in the Garden, "not my will, but, yours be done. Amen"

As I read it, pictures came to my mind of the faces of so many people......sometimes we can witness to the brick wall and then, nothing.....God decides.......I plant a seed and pray, and yet, as I read what you posted...the faces of so many people flashed through my mind, and it's horrible to imagine and think about.


May the Lord's Will be done.

Hi SueAnn and ToledoDebbie. Yeah, me too. No kidding, I actually do this. When I get caught up in worries of the world and feel so useless and cynical I pray for Gods Will to be done. When I pray about what is coming to the world I tell the Lord that I want to be able to stand in faith in Him, but I worry I won't be able to, and will let Him down. It's a horrifying thought. Thankfully, I don't do this too often, trying to remember I am just a worker in the field. And it is God's Grace and Love that will hold me up. For this I am eternally grateful.

Thank you, David. I also thank you for your wisdom and guidance on so many of these threads here on FP. What an amazing group of people we have here on FP to fellowship with and grow in Christ with. Hi Lisa. Yeah we cover a lot of ground here. Frequently my fiends will start talking about some news item, and it's one that has been discussed here for a couple days so I am fully informed on the subject.
