My 5000th post

Postby Exit40 on Sun May 06, 2012 12:12 pm

I would like to say at this milestone post, I hope I have been a good teacher in some aspects, and an inspiration in others.
I am sorry for divisions I may have caused, and look forward to hopefully sharing here with you all for years to come. For those who have formed opinions about me I say, I am concerned about how you think of me. However, your opinion is yours and I respect your right to it, without my interference or trying to change it. Hey, I am generally a stumblebum, sometimes brilliant, maybe, mostly the former, the latter at the Lord's revelation and guidance through some truly brilliant posters here. Sometimes I wonder if I have done any good, other times I just keep plugging away with the hope I have so done. By myself I can do nothing.

I love the Lord and His Word and this is the place where I get the heaviest dose of it outside my own worship, sharing our Beloved Kings revelations to us. I am still trying to be a good servant with my ultimate goal in this world being to be a slave to our Master.

God Bless You All, I love you so much.

David
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Congratulations, David! And I echo everything said above!

Thanks ya'll. RT, I sometimes get concerned my iron will become dull. As this is primarily an RRE board I'm sure many ask will I ever shut up about the muslim thingy. One day I will. Thanks ya'll for putting up with me. My posts haven't always been Spirit filled, I continue to work on this.

I still remember the anxiety of the morning of Mar 6, 2006, when I opened FP to discover what I thought was the end of the board initially . ARRRGH !!! I thought for a moment where am I going to go now to find others who love the Word as I do. Of course it all worked out just fine. FP is my internet home in Christ. Thank you all for helping me along, with sound Doctrine and lively discussion. I have learned so much here.

God Bless You

David, speaking for myself, you have truly been a blessing to me and I appreciate all the research you have done on the Islamic angle of end times events. Keep up the good work brother. On a side note, I have a little catchin' up to do. I just hit 500.

I am so thankful that for each one one of those posts, there have probably been five posts from people here that God has used in my life to encourage me or help me grow or teach me something new. God is good.

:a3: I love my local church, but the people on this board have helped to teach, strengthen, sharpen, and help me grow , every bit as much, if not more than my home church. :hugs2:

Funny, doesn't seem that long, and it was actually fun a lot of the time, which now seems to have flown by. And what a great forum this is, to be able to explore and express myself here in an atmosphere of respect and love is fabulous. What a blessing it has been for me.

Holly, God Bless You for keeping this place up and running. Many thanks to the mods too. The more I think about it the more I appreciate you all.

Well done Exit40 keep it up.

We've seen a lot in these last 5000 posts:

3000 BC: Early agriculture in North Africa
3000 BC – 2600 BC: Early Harappan period continues in the Indus Valley
c. 3000 BC: Neolithic period ends
3000 BC: Djer, third pharaoh of united Egypt, starts to reign
3000 BC: Caral, the first city in the Americas, starts to be built.
c. 3000 BC: Troy is founded
c. 3000 BC: Stonehenge begins to be built. In its first version, it consists of a circular ditch and bank, with 56 wooden posts. (National Geographic, June 2008).

Keep an eye out for us on Turkey, you've done some great research and its only going to get more interesting as time goes by!
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
