Christmas with Yeshua

Postby Spreading Salt on Wed Dec 15, 2010 9:50 am

Here's hoping our King will come get us soon! Wouldn't that be a wonderful treat? Either way, I continue to listen and watch for His return, whenever that will be. Come Lord! :a2:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Maybe this year I can skip my 20,0000th diet, I mean health plan, because I'll be in my glorified body! :alrighty: SS

I used to struggle with my weight. Tried to do what TPTB recommended, and the weight just kept going up. In April 2009, I started eating low carb. I lost 25 pounds (180 to 155) between April and October, and have kept it off. I went from tight size 36 to loose size 32 jeans. Plus, my blood lipid profile (HDL, LDL, triglycerides) are all BETTER.

( I can post this link in this forum, but, the rest of my blog is off topic for this forum. But, of course, I am anxiously awaiting the return of our King! )
2 Timothy 2:24a..And the servant of the Lord must not strive ...
The meaning is, that the servant of Christ should be a man of peace. He should not indulge in the feelings which commonly give rise to contention, and which commonly characterize it. He should not struggle for mere victory, even when endeavoring to maintain truth; but should do this, in all cases, with a kind spirit, and a mild temper; with entire candor; with nothing designed to provoke and irritate an adversary; and so that, whatever may be the result of the discussion, "the bond of peace" may, if possible, be preserved.

I can testify to the same general numbers 196>175. As long as I eat with a reduced carb intake, I maintain with no weight gain. If I disregard it, my weight climbs very quickly. Blood panel looks much better as well.
