Where does China, Japan and the others fit into the end times? I think most people agree that China will be or be apart of the "kings of the east." (Rev. 16:12) <br>

Have wondered the same thing. Had some vague ideas, but reading a post by the Flying Dutchman at the RR website greatly helped to clarify them.<br>

There is good evidence that NAFTA (North America Free Trade Agreement) and the EU are only two of a proposed final ten worldwide economic/trading communities/associations. It becomes easier to understand why so many people who do not know the Lord are so upset at the "workings" of organizations like the World Trade Organization (WTO), etc. Such organizations are helping to turn the entire world into a one-world economy and the proposed ten worldwide trade organizations would comprise it.<br>

The EEC (Eurasian Economic Community, which currently includes Russia) and APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, which currently includes China) are currently some of the other economic communities but the situation overall still appears to be in somewhat of a state of "flux" yet. However, the Flying Dutchman made the statement that nine of the trade organizations are ready and that only the Middle East needs to be organized into a trading block (apparently something besides OPEC).<br>

Once had a political/socio-economic college class on the idea that "the political scene always follows the economic scene" which made a deep and lasting impression. In other words, once a worldwide economy is firmly establish, a worldwide government will likely follow, preparing the way for the ac to demand worldwide allegiance or "no buying or selling allowed" (Rev. 13:17).<br>

Not entirely clear on everything, but although scripture in Daniel seems to state that the ac will rise from the revived Roman Empire (Dan. 9:26-27), could the "subduing" of the three heads (Dan. 7:8, 20, 24-25) be something different? Could the ac "subdue" three of the ten worldwide economic regions? That the ten horns do not necessarily equate with the ten clay/iron toes of Nebuchadnezzar's statue in Daniel 2:41-43 (which is almost certainly the revived Roman Empire, and very possibly the 10 nations of the Western European Union, WEU)?<br>

For instance, Russia, China and Japan could end up being the three subdued heads (economically subdued perhaps at some point by getting "kicked out" of the worldwide economic organization)? That the EU under the ac will be the pre-eminent world trade organization in power in the last days but open to attack in the Middle East (Israel) from Russia and/or China sometime during the last 3 1/2 years of the 7-year peace treaty?<br>

No apologies needed. I am going to check out your links, print this stuff and sit down and read it after the kiddies go to bed. I've wondered for a while how it could fall into place. I knew the reference to the "kings of the east" but wasn't sure about who, where, when, how, if that makes sense. <p></p><i></i>

I agree about China and other countries being part of the kings of the east. However, you believe that they will send a 200 million man army to Armageddon. The number 200 million is used at the sixth TRUMPET. But, the mention of the kings of the east and the preparation for the battle of Armageddon is mentioned at the sixth BOWL/VIAL.<br>

I point this out because I believe you are correct that the number 200 million refers to the kings of the east. The reason why is because I view the trumpets and bowls as running concurrently.<br>
