You know I have been thinking...(ya I know, dangerous)<br>
anyway, Remember when Jesus said, 'before Abraham was I AM.'???<br>
It occurred to me that the AC might attempt the same...say he comes and wins over the confidence of the important Jewish leaders and gains such impetus to fame from them that they allow him up on the Temple Mount to say, participate in an important Jewish festival and he declares that he is the 'I AM'. I am also thinking of the part in Daniel where it says he causes the sacrifice and oblation to cease...could it be that he takes it upon himself to say no more sacrifices because he is the 'I AM'?<br>
any thoughts?<br>

Interesting you should pinpoint this. Have you noticed Babylon's attitude in Isaiah 47, especially verses 8 and 10? Then Revelation 18:7 is a good one too. The antichrist will be intertwined with Mystery Babylon until he decides he doesn't need her anymore. That "I am" phrase in Isaiah is what I find intriguing.<br>

yep...Isaiah 47:8 says specifically that Babylon says "I am and there is no one besides me."<br>
Takes the word of the Almighty and takes it for her own...<br>
easy to see the AC doing just that...how flippant how aweful...<br>

his bloodline would definitely have to be accepted among the Jewish sects. this one is indeed a prince or not? it says so, so i must assume that he is currently one or next in line. <br>
remember that this prince will rise out of an alliance. who is to say what nationality he is? EU has had alliances with the Arabs and Palestinians for some time, off and on. heck, this prince could have Armenian blood for all we know. he is the Antichrist.<br>

I think part of the answer to this is not religous in nature at all. Remember, the antichrist is not trying to specifically convince christians he "Is".<br>
He's trying to convice the world at large he 'IS"<br>
What ever the antichrist does, it MUST appeal to all the world or his false image would not work. <br>

Maybe the antichrist fools people and "false-proves" evolution as true. <br>
<br>
In my opinion the antichrist cannot use religion as we know it as a base for his false teachings.<br>

It must be from science, it must be somthing that appears to disprove not only Christianity, but would disprove, Islam, buddhism, all of the major and minor religions.<br>

In fact as far fetched as this sounds, I wouldn't be surprised if the anti-christ enters the world seemingly from outer space. <br>
Much Like Christ will appear.<br>

Satan is after all, trying to mimic Christ.<br>

I think that when the anti-christ appears, he will appear with Hope, solutions all based in science. <br>
He may even claim he is from "elsewhere" in the universe.<br>

Think about it, how many Christians would loose faith if someone proved life, intelligent life, not only exsisted elswhere but actually showed up with all of our worlds solutions? Including technology we've never seen before?<br>

Nope, I do not believe the anti-christ will appear as new religion. He will appear and try to disprove ALL religions in the name of science. He'll have so much knowledge that no-one on earth will be able to debate him. A Christians faith, and faith alone will be the only defense. <br>
I don't think anyone can deny that Satans knowledge is much more than any man. He was created that way.<br>

Whatever the anti-christ uses as his I AM statement, its going shake even the most "elect in Christ" if possible.<br>

With all the warnings we've been given throughout scripture, its clear that the anti-christ will be a formidable oppenent to overcome.<br>

I know that some of you are thinking, no way, I'll recognize him easy, and be able to resist. <br>
I hope so.<br>

I just don't think its going to be that obvious.<br>
There are to many warnings in scipture about being deceived.<br>
Whatever is coming our way brothers and sisters, is going shake a few of our souls to the core.<br>

Let us pray that we have the Faith, have the physical strenght and Gods grace upon us when that moment comes. <br>

How about the appearance of fallen angels masquerading as UFO's, aliens, the ancient gods, the source of life, the real gods of creation. There would be massive falling away, apostasy - so much so that if it were not for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit even the elect would be deceived and say there is no god of the bible.<br>
