I have some things I've been wondering about....prophecies yet to be fulfilled, like <br>
<br>
1)The temple needs to be rebuilt. It doesn't look like the Dome of the Rock is going anywhere soon. (unless an earthquake but then wouldn't the Muslims just rebuild there?) How's the rebuilding going to happen? Could they build it elsewhere? How long does it take?<br>
<br>
2)The AC being worshipped as God. I mean, I believe it will, but I can't imagine it - how would this guy get anyone in their right mind to believe it? I know people believe a lot of off things, but this seems a real stretch....<br>

We're all asking those questions. If the Geneva Accords become part of the peace process, that may help explain the temple mount dilemma.<br>
<br>
The Geneva Accords call for East Jerusalem and Temple Mount to be given to the Palestinians, but be placed under international control.<br>
<br>
I chuckle when I think about this. Thats like, when two children are fighting over a toy, telling one child your giving the toy to them, but letting the other child hold it.<br>
<br>
Yet in this way I can see the Temple Mount becoming some the site of some kind of international religious temple -- a temple for all the children of Abraham -- the Jews, Chrisitans and Muslims.<br>
<br>
As far as the AC being worshiped, remember not everybody will go along with this idea. This is when many of the Jewish people will come to their scenses. They will rebel, be killed or flee to the mountains. And those who don't believe in anything, why not worship the AC.<br>
<br>
These are just some thoughts though.<br>

I don't doubt what the Bible says, but sometimes it's so hard to figure out "how?" <br>

It's almost like something wierd would have to happen for people to actually think the AC is God, and I can't imagine what. (or don't want to!) <p></p><i></i>

Before the AC sets himself up as God in the Temple, he will have convinced alot in the world he is God by lying signs and wonders, in conjunction with the period of time in 2 Thess chapter 2, that describes the "falling away" of believers and the great deception that will deceive the many due to the removal of the restraint that the real God had been providing.<br>

OK so before the abomination, there is a notable "rise" in the AC's influence and the world falls into blind deception over a period of time, for example.... <br>
<br>
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12<br>

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.<br>

During this time I think these scriptures in Daniel would also apply: <br>
Daniel 8:23, 24<br>
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.<br>
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: <!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END--><br>

So, I think this deception is before the desolation, and then after the AC goes in the Temple, he will make it a law that you have to take the mark and worship him or be killed....so before this he rises to power politically, militarily, and economically through a means of world conquest (revived Roman Empire) and religious deception. <br>
<br>
And if the peace treaty is broken when he goes in the Temple, (since he has to have somehow aquired it to obtain power over it), he would have had to have the laws in place to worship him before...this gives me the impression that there is a period of time before the start of the 3 and a half year Great Trib, in order for the AC to rise to power first, during which time he will have also "deceived" the many into changing the laws as well. <br>

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.<br>
<br>

I believe that Satan will have a lot of control during the tribulation over people's minds and thought processes. Remember, it's going to be hard for people to accept Christ as their personal savior after the rapture and tribulation because God's spirit will not be dwelling the same way it does now. The time to be saved is now. Satan's spirit is going to be powerful during this time deceiving men's minds. Hope that helps. <p></p><i></i>

the word is out, there are somes Jews n the mother country that are training to fill the positions of the old priest-hood. also, they are using a mock temple for traing. the prophecy for the 3rd temple will be fulfilled soon. something else. how many jews lve in jeuselem? how many live throughout the worl? why are there only 144,000 mentioned in revelation? <br>
what is the role of USA, well, the 'church age' was hidden from the old prophets. there is still key prophecy data being hidden from US. think about it,. what could be holding Bush back from throwing consequences to the wd and supporting jeuselem 100% ?<br>

The 144,000 Jews consist 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel which are selected and "sealed" by God to to make one final effort to spread the gospel of Jesus to the decieved world. This is what would likely convert many of the remaining Jews before the start of the Great Tribulation. Also, these selected Jews would make a major effort to save people of all nations. <br>
That's the way I understand it anyway.<br>
