Mat 24:20-21
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

It probably will be in Winter, and on a Sabbath, because it is doubtful anyone will be praying it doesn't happen then.

Nice to hear from you Doug.

God Bless

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear
The hour I first believed.

If not, then next year, July/August.

If not, then sometime after that.

Some July/August after that....

Doug, i would agree with much of your outline. As Jesus fulfilled the first 4 appointed feasts at His first coming, He will likely fulfill the fall feasts at His second coming. The 7th seal and trumpet do describe rituals and events associated only with the Day of Atonement, the 7th bowl describing armageddon, suggesting that Jesus does return on the Day of Atonement at the time of armageddon.

It would follow that as Gog-Magog occurs 7 years prior to armageddon, and is an event that drives Israel to return to God, Gog would also occur during the fall feasts, again pointing to God's involvement in the event. And indeed, Joel 2, which describes an attack on Israel by a northern army consistent with Gog-Magog, appears to associate the event with the Day of Atonement.

In Deut 31 Moses states that the 7 year reading or 'strengthening' of the covenant was to occur during the feast of Tabernacles, which follows the Day of Atonement. It would then follow that the northern armies of Gog would gather prior to the fall feasts during the time of repentance, the battle would occur at the time of the fall feasts and Israel would cry out to God who delivers them on the Day of Atonement, the day of judgement for the nation. After the battle, during the feast of Tabernacles the covenant would be read by one or more 'shepherds' of Israel, one among them being the 'little horn'.

And for 7 months the bodies will be buried after which it may be that the temple will be rebuilt, 7 months after the fall feasts occurring in the month of Ziv, the month Solomon began building the first temple.

And these events will likely be preceeded by the destruction of Damascus as described in Isa 17, which may have some association with the late spring harvest (harvest of grain in the valley of Rephaim), which Joel 1 may also be alluding to. But the destruction in July/August would appear to be associated with the nation in Isa 18, the land of whirring or outstretched wings, at the time of the ripening grape, the month of AV, July/Aug, when the' birds will feed on them all summer, the wild animals all winter', summer starting in late June.

But when would the year be? Isa 61 and 63 appear to associate armageddon, the day of vengeance, with the year of Jubilee, the year of the Lord's favor. Considering that the counting for the year of Jubilee did not begin until Israel was fully in the land and had begun plowing and planting in the land, from a certain perspective, the final 7 year countdown to the Year of Jubilee, the year that begins on the Day of Atonement, could begin in the near future....or sometime later...
