Just as good precaution, I made sure that there is gas in the cars, water stored, and cash in hand. Probably good practice for any given day in Southern California.

I`m not Bok, but to answer part of your question, just google 'rainbow clouds seen before China and Chilean quakes".
Here is one example;

Mat. 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must occur; but the end is not yet. 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.
τόπος
topos
top'-os
Apparently a primary word; a spot (generally in space, but limited by occupancy; whereas G5561 is a larger but particular locality), that is, location (as a position, home, tract, etc.); figuratively condition, opportunity; specifically a scabbard: - coast, licence, place, X plain, quarter, + rock, room, where.

I was curious about the word "divers". KJV or different places MKJV. Typically I have taken that to mean in random or diverse places about the globe, all over. (Note: it does not say earthquakes or pestilence are to increase.

I don't know that I've ever heard anyone equate verse 6 to quakes being increased. Instead, the "increased" part comes from the following verse:
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
That word sorrows is birthpangs, and as birthpangs come with greater frequency and intensity then so to, depending on how one takes this verse, should the famines, earthquakes, etc.

Back-to-back quakes felt in San Diego
Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 12:15 p.m
Earthquakes measuring 4.9 and 4.8 occurred in quick succession today, generating energy felt across San Diego County. It was the second time since May 8 that the region has been jostled by a pair of earthquakes that were almost the same magnitude, and which happened fairly close together in time.
All of this shaking has led some people to ask whether another large quake,...is imminent.
I don't have the slightest clue if there is any meaning to this.

As the Lord has given us the beasts of the field it is up to us to figure out how best to manage them. We can beat them into submission or we can love them into cooperation. The foremost issue of the latter is, we must have it in our mind we are committed to take as much time as this requires, critical issue the horse actually gets when we commit to taking days or weeks, or forever, a projection really but the idea is the determination of endless commitment towards the accomplishment. Here also must be the patience of the loving teacher who waits for the sign of initial response and encourages the follow up behavior, a breaking down of the whole into encouraging the parts to come together, the final picture. Instead of whipping a horse, or creating the pressure of such thinking, where the man has to ' win ', where they have to figure out the path of least resistance, basically teaching them to think in avoidance pictures so they learn the performance, this method, called the ' feel ' method which is greatly misunderstood, presents the picture of the performance already accomplished, patiently waiting for the horse to understand his own language as we present it to him, which can take some time as we are not perfected in out human dialects of this, we have a human accent after all. This all starts with the ground work, which we are able to later translate into the saddle. While this is a response to
' proper ' picture thinking, and we do present ' bad ' pictures too if we are not careful, we can see the results with our eyes, it becomes the ' feel ' through our heart, the same ' feel ' the horse gets about us, if we present ourselves to be a responsive, loving trusted partner to them.

It's great to know there are others who understand. Ask him for me what he thinks about the ' pictures in their mind ' issue I spoke about above, please. And maybe we should move to the PM function ?
