Waiting for Israel’s Midterm Review

A map of nations included in the European Neighbourhood Policy (in blue).

A lot of debate on our discussion board has focused on the exact date that marks the midpoint of the ENPI budget term. But an event I’m watching closely is the release of the midterm reports for the ENPI nations, and specifically the midterm report for the nation of Israel.

The reason I’m watching Israel’s midterm report so closely is because — if the new ENP was the confirmation of the covenant for a period of seven years — then we know from Scripture that the Antichrist is supposed to break the covenant after three and a half years. The midterm report, due out any day now, appears to give him the perfect opportunity to do so.

This European Commission site will publish the reports when they are released. Stay tuned!
