Shrinking the Job to Fit the Woman?

The Economist says the EU’s new foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, is not performing up to her job description.

Only nine weeks into her new role, and “things are not going well,” according to the article published Thursday. Read it here. EU leaders are criticizing Ashton for a number of shortcomings, including not casting a strategic vision for Europe, failing to produce a powerful External Action Service and not traveling abroad enough (reportedly, she spends too much time at home with her family).

But I wonder, what will EU leaders do about it?
