Thank You .. Yea this guy bothers me.. He has a strange way of closing his eyes. And talks about How WE can make things happen.. Anyhow.. No Osteen for me.

Yes I think he is a "name it/claim it" type preacher like Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, etc. Makes people feel good and in control so that accounts for the large following I guess.

The first time I heard Osteen on the radio, I had not heard his name, but the sound of his voice was so oily and smooth, that I could almost hear the hiss and see a forked tongue... Can not stand the sound of his voice! Gives me shivers!

IMO, Guys like Osteen (and those that follow him) are the fulfillment of 2 Timothy 4:3-4.
