Sorry Mrs B, but not even if I had a gun to my head.

George Washington was inaugurated as the first President of the United States in 1789. The United States was dedicated to God by Washington and the rest of the founding fathers and early government officials in New York City, the first capital of the nation.
Washington stated in an address at Federal Hall that the nation would prosper and be protected as long as it remained committed to the will and purposes of God. He made a prayer of dedication and commitment to God near Federal Hall at St. Paul’s Chapel - located on the corner of a place now known as ground zero. That's right! At this location, there is a statue of George Washington bowing on his knees in prayer before God, dedicating the United States to the purposes of God - the chapel is located at the corner of ground zero where the World Trade Center buildings fell. As a matter of fact, the WTC buildings were built on church property.
Miraculously, St. Paul’s Chapel suffered only minor damage, but a sycamore tree on the property was broken off down to the roots. The roots were dug out of the ground, cast in a mold, bronzed and installed as a sculpture on Wall Street. In a ceremony months later, a Norwegian spruce tree (evergreen, cedar family) was lowered by crane into the spot where the sycamore stood.
