Jerusalem Countdown.... John Hagee....discusses IRAN

Postby Phyllis on Wed Feb 01, 2006 3:42 am

I just bought this book yesterday and I'm only in the 3d chapter, but I would think everyone here would want to read it. It was only 10 bucks at Walmart. It was written in April 2005, but so far its been as if it was taken right out of todays papers. Really sheds light on the details of whats going on right now, and possible senario's if we or Israel strike.

I'm also reading this book right now. Hagee is spot on in is Iran analysis. For example, he said last year that Iran would reach 'the point of no return' in January of 2006. This is exactly what has happened. According to Hagee's sources, the US and/or Israel will strike Iran sometime between April and September (2006). If this happens the region may become engulfed in war. And if that happens, it may very well lead to a seven year peace treaty and a 'two state solution'. Folks, I believe this could be where we are on God's prophetic timeline. Get ready!
Watched the series on TV, on his program. Very good and
very informative. Passing it on to others. I'll probably get
the book also. "John Hagee Today" on TBN at 9:30am (et),
also has a program on Sundays "Cornerstone" 4p-5p. Sorry,
"John Hagee Today" is on M-F. Thanks for the info. Didn't
know it was out and at Walmart.

Hagee is great . The only thing I sometimes shake my head at is why a guy like him occassionally goes onto Hinn's program.
problem with Hagee

Postby treesy on Wed Feb 01, 2006 10:01 am

I've come across Hagee plugging his book on TV recently on C-SPAN and some English Christian show with a 30ish couple. On the English show, Hagee was making the point that we had to be supportive of Israel. However, I took issue with his use of Matthew 25:31-40 to say that these verses refer specifically to Israel, that Me=Israel. That seems like an abuse of Scripture to me. Now I think Hagee is a pre-tribber, so maybe that has something to do with his viewpoint, but I'm not a pre-tribber either. Or perhaps he knows he's abusing Scripture. Might explain why Hinn doesn't bother him. Does he make this point in the book?

The books sounds so good that I had to order it from Amazon. Thank you for recommending it. I have to take it easy for a few days because I have pneumonia. I'll enjoy having something good to read.
